Spring is in the air...

Our family is enjoying spring to its fullest!

Our hospital gives a free 3D ultrasound,
so the other day I went had got
to bring home pictures of our baby.
It is so fun to get to see the baby before she is even born.
They still think she is a girl,
but nothing is for sure until they are born.
They had a really hard time getting pictures of her face,
because she had her hand and one of her feet right
up in her face,
but I think they did a good job.

This is her foot, that was right in front of her face.
This is what I found the other morning,
when I looked out to check on the kids.
(I just had to take a picture before I told him to get his bike off the trampoline.)
Then later that day, I found them playing on the lawn mower.
What a bunch of cute kids!

Busy, Busy, Busy

The weather has been so nice
and I LOVE IT!
We have been busy working on a
bunch of different projects.
I finally stained the book case by our front door and it
turned out really good. I even got the table runner I wanted
to go on top. It works really well for everyone's shoes and
other things they drag home.
My second project was this movie case that I built and finished.
I was really unsure what color to paint it but I took Wyatt's
advice and painted it black with the top stained.
It turned out better than I thought,
it is a little rough and the doors don't always swing right,
but I love the way it looks,
and all our movies fit.
I have had these strainers for a long time and finally
scraped up my hands getting this small one made for the
pantry cake that I won at our last swap.
I made this bag holder thing because I didn't like the other one
I had. I got the idea from one of the many blogs on my sidebar,
but I don't remember which one.
Willy has been busy BUYING, SELLING, & TRADING.
That is one of his many hobbies.
He bought this horse trailer, fixed it up, and then sold it last night.
I don't know if I like this hobby very much,
but he does seem to make money,
so it isn't all bad,
but now he is looking for another one.
I have also been engrossed in Fablehaven;
it is a great series.
Now I need to buy book #4 and 5.

I hope spring has found you out enjoying the wonderful weather.

Easter

We had a really fun Easter.
We celebrated a week early this year,
while Rebecca and Jake were out with Taylor and James.

The kids had so much fun.Grandma and Grandpa were watching all the fun.
We also invited Katie and Alex up with their kids.
It was fun to have all of our niece and nephews their to enjoy our fun.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

I think we are living like Bob The Builder,
and that is a good thing.

The other day I was kind of cleaning up our bookshelf.
Wyatt has brought home so many little readers from school (which is really nice)
but I didn't have anywhere to put them so they would be together,
and out of the way.

So I went on the hunt for a box that would fit all of them in,
and I was lucky enough to find a swifer box that was just about the right size.It looked pretty sad and flimsy at first,
but with a little modge podge and scrapbook paper
it turned out really cute and more durable.
