Fly away home

The goodies above will hopefully be winging their way to the southern capital in a day or two, trapped inside a lovely young ladies suitcase.
Today was one of those days where you go looking and find exactly the things that fit your brief.
And the kindest of people behind the counter who virtually give the goodies away for free.
Wonderful.
The man behind the counter told me that he thinks this little beakless bird could be a fairy wren.
I don't know.
But I have a feeling she might just like it.
The tablecloth down the bottom is a keeper for me.
Fits my table like a glove and suits my personality perfectly.
It wasn't my turn to cook tonight but todays chef is off colour so I am making pancakes. Best get cracking.

Perfect!

Thankyou Sally
You're just the best.
I love these more than I can say.
That pink is just perfect in my house and the hand printed fabric is already finding a spot in one of my projects.
And I know that ribbon braid will find the perfect home one day too.
Thankyou!

We have two winners!!

Giveaway drawing time is always such a hard time for me because I want everyone to win. If I had the money I would scour the world and find heaps of milky brown jugs but alas I only have 1 today which goes to dorothybills who said she loved the browns.

The peg pinnie was also well received and it goes to Brianna who fortunately had a partiality to it rather than the jug.

Please email me with your addresses girls.
To everyone else: Please do not think of yourself as losers as your kindness in joining in has brought a smile to my heart and that makes you all winners in my book.
Thankyou.

Final call on the giveaway

I'm meant to be drawing the winner tonight but might just leave it for tomorrow morning so you still have all of today to enter.
I don't think this pink set is totally finished yet but this is how it is going. Be a pity if I had to add chocolate to even things out wouldn't it?
And here is the little jug set complete - that means no chocolate.

Remember, no hoops - just leave a comment here today
on this post or on the original one here.

Flea market finds towards a giveaway

A Mikasa jug - be still my heart - you don't really like brown.
A gorgeous pinnie with vintage fabrics and 'pegs' embroidered on it.
I am going to have two little giveaways and these two items will form the basis for the two.
No jumping through hoops needed.
Just leave a comment anytime between now and the 25th October and you are in the running.
I will continue to post updates as I add to these two categories.

My new dish cloths

Thanks to Red Chocolate I can now enjoy using these sweet dishcloths. They have to the softest ones I have ever felt. It almost feels wrong to use them. The pink one is for me (I just love that particular shade of pink) and the other two have been given to DD2 for her glory box. She loves them too.

Giveaway winner

Thankyou to everybody who entered my giveaway. I get so much fun from hosting one and reading your comments but then I want everyone to win. Unfortunately the only way that could be is if only one person entered. Fortunately that was not the case.

So without further ado the winner is:

Congratulations to Tas who said...
"Stash" and "chocolate". My 2 favourite words!

Creative Space - a giveaway for yours

To help you to do all of the above I have decided to share some of my goodies with you. Not sure what though.
Could be from here
or here.
Not sure at all. Just know that nothing will be new and you won't be getting any of my Mother's beautiful pearl buttons. Chocolate is probably also off the menu because it would have to be new (you wouldn't want OLD chocolate now would you?) and such a thing never exists in my house. Not longer than an hour or two anyway. Maybe I could just buy it and race straight to the post office? We'll just have to see.
Anyway, if you want some of my treasures be sure to leave your name and a contact if you don't have a blog and wait to see what happens.
I think I will draw the winner on the 22 of this month because I get paid then and that is your best chance of getting chocolate.
More creative spaces here.

The amazing siver jewellery tree

This girl is amazing. She designs a brilliant new product and then gives one away for free. If you would like to be the recipient of this all you need to do is go Missie Krissie and follow the directions. Not much use though 'cause I am going to win it anyway. LOL (I wish!)

Giveaway winner

Apparently not many need saving from the worrisome disease mentioned in an earlier post. However, as we did have five people crying out for assistance we do still have a giveaway.
So without further ado, the winner is the lovely lady who said: "I just had to buy myself a new home after losing 2 within a week!"
Yay!
I leave you with a glimpse of my present project.

One a day?!! ~ Must Join Giveaway

Due to the prevalence of the distressing condition known by most crafters, un-named but generally identified by such calls as "where's my quick unpick", or, "I've lost it again" I have decide to take swift and full action to rectify the matter by awarding one lucky blogger a weeks supply of new unpickers. This should enable her to work without uttering the heartwrenching cries so unique to this problem. All you have to do is show your empathy for your fellow crafters by spreading the word on your blog and letting me know by 16 June.Saving your sanity - one day at a time!

PS The Two Windmills are giving away a gorgeous blue owl. Check it out!

Giveaway winners !!

Well finally, Saturday midnight has passed and we can draw the winners. I say winners because DD2 and I had such a great time reading the comments of appreciation for these lovely vintage linens that we couldn't stop at just one winner. It breaks our hearts that you can't all get something!
There is also a consolation prize for Loz and Dinny who kept us laughing for a couple of days with her comment: 'Out of control - so good I could wet my pants'.
So without further ado here are the three winners:
" Gemma said I would wet my pants, and I nearly did. What an amazing find!"
Aunty Cookie said: I need those tourist teatowels!! they would be oh so perfect for my quilts..... "

"Look at all these BEAUTIES!!! "

Congratulations to you !!
Please contact me so I can send your goodies on to you.

More choices in giveaway !

Here is the rest of the haul from next door. This lady sure had good taste and although she didn't use most of these products we can now. Please calm down Emma ! ;-))

These three lovely ladies are a set.
Are you into stockings? I'm not - it's generally too warm here. This just needs a small wooden clothes hangar to make it complete.
Don't forget all comments must be in before midnight this Saturday Melbourne/Sydney time and you are allowed to tell me which piece you would like if you should win!
