Searching for Trillium: Mosaic Monday

Photo thanks to goldsworld.com
I went in search of trillium that grows
in my woods. Sadly none to be found
today. I think the weather has been to cold.
I shall keep a watch out for them.
In the meantime I took photo's of  my wild
bleeding heart, ferns,columbine,exbury azalea that
was supposed to be light peach and a very occupied
birdhouse.

The exbury I planted 20 years age as a twig.
It is now taller than me (5'8") and a favorite
place of the mountain chickadees.
Be sure to visit more Mosaic Monday's by dropping
by Marys Little Red House. Thanks again to Mary our
wonderful host.

Mosaic Monday: Skagit Valley Tulips

How I spent my Easter!
The weather was sunny but very windy as we went
through the tulip fields of Skagit Valley.
This is the salmon parrot tulip, my favorite!
I made every effort to wait for the wind to stop
so the pictures would be good. Some I missed...
and some I was able to catch!

The fields went on for miles. The valley
was alive in color.
All in all we all had a beautiful time.
 for more great mosaics!

Mosaic Monday: The Power of a Flower

The weather has been rather cool as of late.
It feels like Fall is in the air and I am not ready for that.
We had a cold winter with never ending snow.
So I gather comfort in my photo's of my garden.
The magnificent colors warm my soul and prepare me
for what lies ahead.
