Day 15 of 30 Paintings in 30 Days, the Half Way Mark!

Watercolor
I am eating more healthy these days.Lots of fruit
and veggies. Christmas treats are GONE,
nothing to tempt me.
Still very cold here, sunny but really cold.
When the sun goes down the temps follow
in a big hurry.
We have reached the half way mark of 30 paintings
in 30 days and I'm hanging in there.
Now I am off to eat my still life.......!

I Went to a Tea Party Today!

First excuse my bad photography! That said I had a
delightful time at my friend Debby's tea party
in celebration of her birthday.
This girl is amazing and so is
 my waistline after devouring her
wonderful treats. She made so many
delicious goodies from tea sandwiches to
tarts, cakes, just so many little goodies.
Her table was set beautifully. The teacups from
her collection  were lovely.
Her kitty Bobbie had his own chair off to the side.
He was not to be denied  being part of this occasion.
I wanted to take him home as he is quite a lover.
Thank you for letting us celebrate with you Ms.  Debby
and Happy Birthday.
( Can you imagine cooking and creating this all for your
own birthday...)
On other news DH gave me this planter for Valentines Day.
As the tulips opened up I was surprised at what
showed up. (I changed the contrast so you could see
each pedal better).
Little hearts. how nice was that.
Well it is pouring rain (and I mean pouring)
so I am off to curl up with Cloth,Paper....
and dream of warmer days. (they are
calling for snow Sunday). I say call all
you want...I can't hear you!

Oh The Weather is Frightful but I have a treat that's delightful!

What have these two Santa"s found? Mmmm it looks good! I think someone has been cooking up some delightful treats. Ah yes," No Pudge Brownies" I had these the other night at a friends house and thought I had died and gone to heaven !!! So I had to make her version. It is so easy and simple, even I can do it. Put the brownie mix in a large bowl, add 1 container of Yoplait lite raspberry Yogurt, 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed. I put them into cupcake papers and bake for 30 min. at 350. Yummy, mmm chocolate and raspberry. Owwww!

They were ready and waiting with a wonderful scent in the whole house. I get the Pudge mix at a Trader Joe's store. If you don"t have this store try http://www.nopudge.com/ . For those counting points, only 2 per serving. I might add that the mix is very thick. That's the way it should be. ENJOY and oh so quick and easy!!!!!!!!!! I think I will take one and curl up by the Christmas tree and wait for the snow they are forcasting.

Next morning. I apologize! I must have hit the save button instead of publish. To excited about the snow. It's the kid in me.
