Have a Lovely Birthday

Hi friends!  It's my turn to show you a creation using my gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers!!!  This will be my last contribution to as a Design Team member.  Unfortunately, things are too busy for me to craft as much as I want to, so I have had to step down from all of the teams I was on.  When I do craft, you will continue to see me use my very favorite embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts since they have by far the most wonderful selection to make our cards so special!!!

I used the gorgeous Walnut Trellis Rose, Mahogany Trellis Rose, 2-Toned Brown Chrysanthemum, 25mm,15mm and 10mm Open Roses, and Tulips!!!  I made the leaves myself with a MS punch and the left over stems from my WOC flowers.

I used the very pretty Cerridwen from Saturated Canary and colored her with distress inks.

I have a few more details on my blog if you would like to visit me.

Don't forget the 10% off deal with Wild Orchid until June 5th!! What a bargain!!!!

Summer is Coming!

Get those sunglasses out for a very summery card from me today haha! Here in Texas there are big time signs of Spring, so for us that doesn't last long before Summer comes on strong!

I just love mixing yellow and red together, and the deep red roses from Wild Orchid Crafts are the bomb!!!

I also threw in a gorgeous lili from one of the new packs.  It has several shades of cream and pale yellows!!  I used 15mm yellow open roses and deep red rosebuds also to finish it off!

I have made a paperbag card!  I got the idea from my friend Elise.  Check out her paperbag cards here!!!

Here are a few more pictures of my card:

Organizing Lace Ideas

I've said it before and I'll say it again!  "I love to organize"!! So lately I have had organizational issues with my various laces, so I went out and did a little searching for ideas and thought I would share some with you.  Since Wild Orchid Crafts happens to have the most fabulous laces around, this may be quite helpful for some of you! These are just a few of my favorites and from this I have my very own idea ready to get to work on and as soon as I'm done with my little project I promise to post it and show you all.

This first one I thought was pretty cute.  She displays them in a vase and uses rulers and paint sticks.  You can find more info HERE.

Now here's another desktop idea.  Found this one HERE
.
This next one is a little more my style!! Love how organized it looks! haha  HERE is the original site.

Now for the very practical organizer.  I  found this one HERE.

Last, but not least, my ultimate favorite!!!!!! CUTE tags!!!  See more HERE.

I hope this gives you an idea of how to store or organize those pretty Wild Orchid Crafts lace pieces!

Have a wonderful day!!

A Frame Card!

Willd Orchid Crafts has a very nice selection of purple flowers.  For this card I chose to use the darkest version of purple called Plum.   My card is called a Frame Card and this little gal is colored with copics and my papers are Bo Bunny!  If you look closely you will see I used the new Postal stamps from Lili of the Valley.  They are so adorable!

I added lots of snow with my Snow Tex pen on the fence and trees.  I used two tone cherry blossoms, 15mm Plum open roses5mm Plum closed rosebuds, white guipure lace and vintage seam binding all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I thought in this direction you could see the dimension of the card a little better.

Thank you again for visiting the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog!

Have a wonderful day!

Another Christmas Card!

For my card here today you can see I used the new lilies, I absolutely ADORE these new lilies.  I think they rank right up there for me as the Cherry Blossoms.  I also used the  baby pink small gardenia, Self Adhesive Rhinestone, and the Guipure lace from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The flowers were all spritzed with Pearl Glimmer Mist.

My stamps is from the latest Lili of the Valley Christmas release and she is called "Shine A Light" and can be found HERE! She was colored with Prisma Pencils.

My swirls are a Magnolia Doohickey and the snowflakes are a Stampin Up strip called Northern Frost.
