Paper Trail Blog Hop for January... Wonderland

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Welcome to the Paper Trail Blog Hop for January!

You should have arrived from Mary Crosby's blog, but this is a circular hop, so it doesn't really matter where you begin the journey.  ;)

This month we are showcasing the Wonderland Level 2 paper pack.

So this is what I created for the hop.

I LOVE this layout and I have the perfect photos in mind to use on it.

They are of Cole when he was around 2 1/2 years old, playing outside of our old house in the snow.

But, back then I only had a film-style camera and I now have to locate the film strips to get my photos developed.

My how the times have changed...  lol

Once again, I've used a fabulous sketch from the Let's Scrap Sketch website.

Please continue along the Paper Trail Blog Hop by hopping over to Terri Howard's blog.

I hope you had a fantastic 2011, and I wish you all the best in 2012!

Edited to add:  I've had a couple of questions on the white cardstock strip that looks like drips and how I made those.  It's a Martha Stewart border punch called Drippy Goo (Halloween themed).  I don't have her Icicle punch, so I used this one instead.

Happy creating!  :)

Always Be Yourself Layout...

I love this sketch.  So much that it just had to be put into action...

This layout mostly consists of Chocolate, Sky and Colonial White cardstock, along with a little B&T from Believe and the retired Olivia paper packs.

I did very little stamping, using Trinity Alphabet for "always" and photo sizes, and Love Life for the swirls.

I used Color Ready Cork Alphabets for "BE" and the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out "yourself".

And the circles are cut with the 1 1/4" circle punch.

Happy creating!  :)

Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper:  Believe B&T, Olivia B&T - retired; Chocolate, Sky, Colonial White CS
Stamps:  Trinity Alphabet, Love Life
Ink:  Chocolate
Embellishments:  Dk. Chocolate Striped grosgrain, Sky bigger brads, Milepost shapes stars, Color Ready Cork alphabets, Chocolate buttons, Natural hemp
Other:  Upper Crest border punch (Fiskars), Sponge, 3D foam tape, Micro-tip scissors
