Hi everyone!  I am excited to offer another Christmas card class!

This one is featuring the CTMH City Sidewalks papers along with some fun colors, including the new Willow.

We will be making these 6 Christmas cards, so come over for a fun class, which includes a little more stamping than my Oh Deer! class.

Upcoming Thin Cuts Card Class

I have a quick & new card class coming up in October, using a bunch of the new CTMH Thin Cuts dies!

We will be making these 4 cards, shown below.  (I include envelopes with all of my card classes.)

This class uses the new CTMH Hello & Thanks, Love, Happy, and Hearts Thin Cuts dies, as well as the new CTMH Colour of the Year, Sea Glass cardstock... such a pretty colour!

I Am Offering a Card Buffet!!!

Hi!  I am excited to tell you all that I am holding my very first Card Buffet!

It is on Wednesday, August 17th, from 7-9 pm at the Wizard's Hangout (my home studio).

Cost is $25 for all you can make, which includes envelopes.

How it works:  I have 16 different all-occasion card designs (multiples of each) pre-cut and ready in separate baskets for you to make.  You get to choose the designs you want to make, and make as many as you want, in 2 hours.  

The baskets and supplies will be on the tables so everyone can start promptly at 7 pm.  Then at 9 pm I will collect the baskets and you will have a bunch of wonderful creations to take home with you.

I will have sample cards for you to work from and they will not be complicated designs.  I want this to be for everyone, no matter your crafting expertise!

Class Kits Available!

My Sparkle and Shine 5 Christmas Cards class was held yesterday.

It was a great time, so sorry you missed it!  ;)

I served hot chocolate with whipped cream, and I even made some Impossible Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes for my guests.

Anyways, here's the cards we made.

Good news... I have 5 kits available for purchase for $15 each, plus shipping.

(1 kit creates 5 cards, which includes everything pre-cut, 5 envelopes, and I will even pre-stamp and glitter the images for you.)

Because the Sparkle and Shine paper is double sided, you can customize how you want each card to look, whether you prefer the polka dot or the striped version.  

Mix it up however you want.  :)

Recent Kid's Class

 

Last week I held my first kid's class for a 12 year old girl I used to do daycare for, and three of her friends.

 

 

This is what they created:

 

Inspiration for my bookmark came from this one by Chat Wszelaki.

 

We used paper from the new Flirty paper packet, and the sentiment is from Words of Comfort.

 

And the base for the bookmark measures 2 1/2" x 6" (cut at 2 1/2" x 12", and scored at 6").

 

The flower shapes were cut using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

 

And we used a black journal pen to draw on the faux stitching.

 

 

 

 

 

This one is a variation of an old stand-by - the stacked presents card - except by changing the ribbon, this one looks more like a 3-tier cake.

 

You can see my first version of the stacked presents card here.

 

And I have to give credit to the person I cased the original stacked presents idea from - Allison Ohran. 

 

We used paper from the Dotty for You paper pack, a past CTMH special.

 

The nice thing about CTMH papers is that the papers are double sided, so the girls were able to flip over any of the papers to create a card that looked slightly different from their friend's.

 

 

 

 

 

And lastly, this card was inspired by this one by Lynn Put.

 

We used papers from the new Clementine paper packet.

 

The owl is a punch from SU, and it's wings are from another SU punch called Boho Blossom.

 

The sentiment is from Just a Number stamp set.

 

It's an adorable card!

 

And the girls all had fun...  ;)

This is the second of six cards that we will be creating at my all-occasion card class, on Thursday, June 28th.

It uses paper from the Dotty for You paper pack, and two stamp sets:  the flower is from Hooray Bouquet and the sentiment is from Card Chatter Sympathy.

Upcoming Card Class... Card #1

I am working on a card class that will be held later this month, which will be full of a variety of cards.

This is the first card that we will be making.

I really like the way Pacifica and Pear look together.

I used a retired set called Decorative Dainties for the random stamped background and the main image.

The sentiment is from Card Chatter Sympathy.

I'll share the other cards for the class over the next little while, as I create them.

Wonderland Christmas Card Class

Please join me for my Christmas card class using B&Ts from Wonderland.

The class includes 4 cards (as shown) and 4 envelopes.

Everything will be pre-cut, so all you have to do is stamp and assemble.
