Say good-bye, say good-bye...All the world is a stage, and everyone has their part...

Happy Cinco de Mayo, y'all! Welcome to the May Diva Inspirations Hop! If you've come here by way of Julee's Blog, you're right on track. If you've joined the party in progress, make sure you check the Verve Blog for the complete list of Divas playing along today so you can see all the Verve Goodness for yourself, and possibly win some free stamps! Sound good? Oh, and this post is long, so just in case you get distracted, Sony is your next stop for today, and I'm sure she has something amazing for you!

As my post title suggests, all good things come to an end. This will be my last hop as a Verve Diva. Life has changed so much for me over the last two years, and I am scaling back a bunch on my other obligations so I can focus on myself and my family. This is by no means goodbye...I will always be a Verve Fan and cheerleader. It's just time, ya know? My boys are growing up so fast, and they deserve every ounce of attention I have to spare!

Instead of showcasing one project today, I looked through my Verve posts over the last 5 years and have compiled a list of my very favorites for you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed looking through them. I don't know how to make those fancy clickable tables, so I've numbered the projects and listed them with the links to their original posts below the photo. Enjoy!

As I look through these, yes, it may seem like just bits of ink and paper, but each and every project has a story. Some are funny, some are sad, and some are painful. But each is a piece of me. I guess that's what art is, huh? Perhaps soon I'll come back and tell a few of them.

Thanks so much to all of you for sharing this journey with me. I have made some amazing and lifelong friends along the way. I hope you'll continue to visit my blog. I may not post as often, but I'll still be here! I'm so thankful to Julee for being an amazing friend and allowing me to be on this fun ride with her. This is what started it all, my friends!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Some day, I'll be living in a big ole' city, and all you're ever gonna be is mean...

Hi Verve fans!  Sorry about the song...it has been stuck in my head for days! *grin*

It's time once again for our monthly Diva Inspirations Hop.  Today's the day you get to hop about and see what fresh ideas our Inspirations team has cooked up with some of our previously released sets!  I know I just love dusting off a neglected set and using it in a new and different way, so I hope you find a little inspiration along the way today!

Plus there's a prize! Iif you leave a little comment love as you hop about to the blogs below, you just might win a $25 gift certificate to Verve!  Sounds like something to put a spring in your step, don't ya think?  Okay, let's have some fun and HOP to it!

Comment deadline for the prize drawing is 8pm Mountain on March 10
Whew! That's a lot to say. Without further blabbing...here's my card:

My grandparents' 65th wedding anniversary was a few days ago, and we' are going up to Joplin for a little family shindig, so I knew I needed a card! I pulled out Love Story and the Lovely Marquee Die, and I chose the little background from Grateful Elegance to stamp on the blue. Everything was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed.

I added a doily and some text from a vintage dictionary, along with my linen thread and lace. The finishing touch was some glitter around the frame. I really hope they like it!

So...Julee let us know that, we've extended our Wishing for Spring Sale through April 4!  Be sure to check out all the spring stamps and dies that are on sale for 15% off!

Thanks so much for visiting! Next in the hop is the fabulous SONY! Have a great Monday!

February 2012 Verve Diva Inspirations Hop

Hey y'all! Welcome to the February Diva Inspirations Blog Hop! The fabulous Diva Inspirations team is here to start your month off right with a little Verve inspiration! If you're here from Lynda's blog, you're on the right track! If you just happened upon my blog, you'll want to start at the Verve Blog to catch all the fabulous eye candy!

I'm still under the weather, so this will be short and sweet. Here's today's card, using Jeremiah 33:3 Plain Jane from Verve.

I stamped the fabulous scripture in Stazon on a piece of canvas from Canvas Corp. I scribbled on the edges of the canvas with a blue Gelato from Faber Castell, then did a running stitch around the edges with Mandarin twine. The little heart embellishments were created with the From The Heart Die Set. Here's a closer look:

Now that you've endured my blabbering, it's time to visit SONY! Don't forget to leave a little comment love for each of the divas participating in the hop for a chance to win some Vervey goodness of your very own. Have a fabulous day!

So raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways, all my underdogs...

Happy Friday, sistahs!! I'm so sorry it has been a while since I posted...we have had lots of health issues come up, but we are on the mend! Thanks for all the well-wishes and prayers. So now....it's Bellariffic Friday, and this week we have a Sketch for you, by the super talented Ebrubella:

Here's my card using Izzie has a BIRFday cake:

I loveeee this image...she is stamped in Memento Black on Bella's Bestest Paper, then colored with Copic Markers. I added a little Glamour Dust, Ice Stickles, and Liquid Applique. The paper is from the Basic Grey Kissing Booth 6x6 Pad. Love it! Here's a closeup:

Now....since I was unable to last week, I decided I would post my card using my favorite Bella image. Good Gravy, I can't tell you how hard it was to pick one!! I finally settled on Stella with an Olive on Top...shhhhh!! Don't tell the others. Here's my card:

Again, she was stamped in Memento ink onto Bella's Bestest paper and colored with Copic markers. Here's a closer look:

I fancied her up with Glamour Dust Glitter and Glossy Accents on the glass, olive, and her lips. I can't tell you how much I love coloring this image!!! The finishing touch was some flowers and the Here's to You sentiment.
