Antique Key-Windup Drummer Circus Grizzly Bear....

is now available on ebay!   I got lucky to find another wonderful antique tin toy drum that came off of an antique drumming tin toy and knew it would work perfectly for another old key-wind grizzly bear....and this drum is marked japan....way cool!

I did this guy in an old gold color because the of the old colors on the drum.   Put an antique scroll-y key with the metal round thing inserted in his back and now he really looks like an original antique key wind mechanical drumming bear.......  pop over and check him out...... a perfect addition to your antique toy collection!

I have a really fantastic one-of-a-kind piece now available on ebay.  This guy is a Key-Wind mechanical drummer toy circus bear BUT... he doesn't actually move....I gave him an antique key in his back and an antique tin toy drum to look like he is a windup toy.   I have tons more pictures so when you get a chance pop over and check this really cool piece out.....

Vintage french inspired.... CIRQUE DREAM BEAR....

I have not made one of my standing grizzly bears in quite some time so thought I would do one in a vintage french inspired theme..... this time I hand tinted his entire body in the wonderful taupey-brown color and did all his colors in neutrals.....that is soooooo popular in today's decor!   He is now available on ebay....when you get a chance pop over and check him out..... here is the link

OLD Gold Standing Grizzly Bear.....

now available on ebay ......you can get it now too!  I love this new design.....it is so unique and looks like an antique toy bear that was made in the early 1900's!  I did this guy in an old gold color like the original first bears were done....love how he turned out.... of course he has his little chain too ;)

New Design -- A JOINTED version of my Standing Grizzly Bear...

Well, I decided to turn my new standing grizzly bear design into a jointed grizzly bear version....and I am very happy with the results.  The one word that comes to mind is that he is more "refined" than my past creations....with a longer skinnier snout, taller skinnier style body with curved arms and legs with tiny little feet.  He is a perfect little 8" size ....sits nicely in your hand but can display in a cabinet just fine.  For many years I have always used the same body style and changed out head designs.....so this design was a "fresh" and fun new complimentary piece to add to my portfolio of work......hope you like him as much as I do......I will have to create some more of these old world style bears.

Another NEW DESIGN......

I have been busy creating new designs and have this wonderful very old looking replica of a rare antique toy bear.  He is a standing version of a grizzly circus bear :)

******  UPDATE ON ZOEY ******
Alot of you guys have asked how my little Zoey is doing since her sickness.......SHE IS BETTER and back to normal ..YEAH!  After she rested that day she came home from the vet....the next day....back to her normal self!!!!  I guess it was just a doggie flu afterall.....I'm still not sure if she ever swallowed the buttons or not as I never noticed any pass through.....but thanks everybody for all your well wishes and for thinking about her.....she is back to her mischeivous self again ;)
