Lemonade Anybody?

I just want to thank everybody for all your emails of thoughts & prayers for my Mom. She is now in the hospital as of Friday and getting treatment for the built up fluids in her body. All we can do is wait and see if this works.....

Meantime, I have to focus back on my work again, because when you are self-employed you unfortunately do not get paid time off.......so I was inspired by summer time activities and my little vintage Lemmy Lemonade bottlecap was the perfect finishing touch to my little cabinet size bear I just finished......

She is now on ebay in case you want to see more details................also, this little cheesebox wagon is for sale in my ETSY shop too.

Cleaning Studio ~ Vintage Goodies For Sale

Phew...I have been doing a bit of spring cleaning in my studio in between sewing. It's nice to take a bit of a break from sewing and try to organize the space.

Like a said in my recent "Vintage Goodies" blog post....I have way too many wonderful vintage supplies and unfortunately I will never get around to using all of them.

So I am selling lots of props, supplies and goodies in my ETSY shop ! I have priced everything very reasonable so take advantage..... if you buy mulitple items I will definately combine shipping costs to save you $$$$

Today's View From My Studio Window

Well.....we are getting our first big snowstorm of the season...............

Thought I would share with you what I see when I look out from my studio window......

My work studio is not at my house. I share space in a small 3-unit building and this is what I see on one side of my door....a bit of woods all snow covered....... and below is the view looking out to the main road, past the big fat shrub (that I wish the landlord would cut down, it is almost covering my whole window now) ....

Oh I almost forgot..... I just finished up a little old clown bear today and I have him available in my ETSY store right now.........

I finally got around to setting up an ETSY shoppe....hurray.

If you are not familiar with ETSY, it is a website for all things handmade and vintage! Everything we all LOVE! I think I am probably the very last artist to get over there and open a shop! So I started small and decided to get my feet wet first.....I thought I would make personalized address labels of my whendi bear images. I already make them for myself so I thought others might enjoy a little smile when addressing your envelopes :)
