Its a 'New' challenge at Whimsy Stamps today

Hello again

It seems a while since I had two posts in a day but I've got two today and two tomorrow - no rest for the wicked as they say!

Our new challenge this month  at Whimsy Stamps is

Something New

and I've used one of this months new release digis
called Birthday Prince from Liastampz and available HERE

I just love this little image - just perfect for a little boys birthday card
so true  to life in a child's make believe world and I decided to make it an easel card so I would have extra space for the embellies I had in mind.

here is a close up of the details

I used my favourite "little boy card" papers with the toy embellies and sentiment from matching sets
They are all Hopscotch Boy from K & Co

Here's what I did....

Coloured with Copics and prismacolr pencils
Papers, sentiment and die cut toy embellies - hopscotch boy from K & Co
Card - Bazzill basics
Circles cut with spellbinders dies
Sentiment in circle - LOTV
Stars - nellie snellen die

There is also a lovely Birthday Princess digi by Liastampz too - equally cute - hop on over to Whimsy Stamps digi store to check out the new releases this month- just so cute!

Hope you can find something new to enter into our challenge this month

A Wee Sketchie challenge at Moving Along with the Times

Good morning all

I'm back with another scheduled post - this time its my DT post for

Moving Along With the Times Challenge Blog

This was supposed to be my turn to host this week
but as I'm away on holiday our lovely leader Hazel is hosting instead - thanks Hazel!

And in the words of our lovely little Scottish lady Hazel
the theme is

A Wee Sketchie Challenge

And here's the Wee Sketchie!!

We have sponsors for this weeks challenge and a lovely prize too

- the prize is 3 images of the winners choice.

The DT were lucky enough to get some images to play with
and I chose the cute - Train Spotting  available here

This image came at the perfect time for me as I was looking for a cute image to make a card for my grandson Jacobs 2nd birthday. on 13th December.  I got him a little train set just a week or two back in the Early Learning Centre - I don't know if he'll get it for his birthday or as a Christmas gift yet but I'm sure he'll be just as cute as this little boy whenever he gets to play with it!

This is what I did...

Image - Train Spotting from Scrappers Delights
Coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils
Papers - K and Co hopscotch boy
Die cut letters/number- Sizzix Vintage Market by Tim Holtz

We'd love to see what you can make with this easy peasy wee sketchy - I love sketches it takes all the thinking out of the card  and at the minute I'm a bit thunk out!!

I'm up a height! - In the sky for My time to craft this week

Hello again!

Really sorry I haven't been around much this week its been a really busy one.  The themes for this weeks challenges seem to have been set for me!  We had going around in circles on Thursday and now its

In the sky

Here in Geordieland we use the phrase- "up a height"  meaning stressed out! - that's me! - I'm totaly up a height this week lol!! got more to do than there are hours in the day at the minute.  Having said that I pretty much live my life like that and always have done.  Most people think I'm just totally nuts I think but I hate to be bored and would rather have too much than too little to do - because my philosophy is that you always catch up in the end!

Here's my card for this week, using really cute digi from Liastampz at Whimsystamps
