More Christmas

What is even more fun than making these cute little cotton ball snowmen?
Having a massive cotton(snow)ball fight of course!
Pure delight I tell ya!
Of course we love driving around looking at all the lights. But I've also been taking the kids on Christmas walks. It has been so much fun. A mr. someone who I love, tends to drive too fast by the houses. So this way we can really analyze the lights and decor. Haylee loves pointing all the cute things out to me. This night it had just barely snowed enough to leave the sidewalks white and the snow was like glitter. It was a perfect Christmas night!
A little of what our elf has been up to:
toilet paper on the tree. Sadly I think our tree looks better with the tp wrapped around it. Our poor little tree is becoming more and more like a charlie brown Christmas tree every year. We had big plans to get a real tree this year. At least a bigger fake one. There's always next year.
And wrapping our pillows
Our favorite crafts are the ones that you can eat. Yum, we've had plenty of fruit loops today!
Weston has been so funny (cute, I think) about Christmas this year. He wants our house decked out to the max in decor and lights. He's never like this. EVER! I think it's because we are staying home this year? I don't know. But he has been very frustrated with me that our house does not smell Christmasy. We have lots of candles, pinecones that smell like cinnamon, cinnamon sticks, and wall plug ins. It's just not enough he says. Everynight he says, It doesn't feel like Christmas because our house doesn't smell like it.
Here you go Babe, bought this today! Our house does smell like Christmas now. Can I count this as one of his presents??!!!!
On mon for fhe I needed to use some boxes. Immediately they turned into toys for the kids. They've been playing with them ever since. I'm sure more than they will play with the presents under the tree but that's ok. I love buying presents for my kids! Haylee turned hers into a Christmas house and came up with the idea that they needed lights. Of course they do!!! And Haylee could not be happier that her house has it's own lights.
Sometimes I'll catch Haylee just staring at the tree. And I love it. I like to think she is thinking of our Savior and how wonderful his birth was. Because I know over time she will come to learn what a miracle that was. But for now I am just happy that she is taking in how magical Christmas is!!

December

We are having such a fun Christmas season so far. Haylee and Hunter are at the perfect age and are having a blast doing anything christmasy. Today we made a felt Christmas tree. It has been decorated numerous times already.

Hunter found Santa's sleigh
And Haylee found the nutcracker
We've even managed to go visit Santa at the North Pole, by boat. Thankfully it was not a freezing night. The Grinch even made an appearance, which Haylee loved.

Blue

I noticed one day my kids were wearing somewhat coordinating outfits. Quick, grab the camera. Photo Shoot!!!
And then they were done with me taking their pictures!
