Spring feels like summer

Yesterday it was hot and I loved it!! Every second of it. It was only in the high 80's but it felt like a mid summer day and like I said I loved it. Our pool isn't open yet so we had to wing it and get out the water balloons. Before we could soak each other the kids threw them on the grass so fast. Hunter laughed every single time he threw one.

Haylee has been begging me to write a book. She wanted to do illustrations just like fancy nancy taught her. We read about 10 fancy nancy books a day. And I'm pretty sure Haylee has found her soulmate in life. Fancy Nancy. They are identical!

Haylee wrote the entire book herself, every word straight from her mouth, and I think it turned out pretty cute. Well super cute actually. She even did a lot of the illustrations.

Our apartment is long!!!! It's a perfect soccer field. And we had quite the game today!! Very intense! And Haylee is dang good! I was really impressed. I even broke out in some huffing and puffing. Including our game of tag at the park I think I'll call that my workout for the day.

Woman's Day!

Yesterday I woke up to beautiful yellow roses. Today I woke up to a beautiful breakfast and a HUGE pink card. Pink and yellow are my favorite colors!! I'm so grateful and proud of these two kiddos. I don't know how I was so lucky to be able to be their mom but I'm so happy I was entrusted with these two little spirits. Their spirits are powerful, strong, faithful, adorable, sensitive, and caring. I love being their mom!! Happy Mother's day.

I've learned a lot of things about myself in the 4 1/2 years I have been a mom. The first thing I learned right off the bat is that my very good looking husband and I make incredibly cute babies. I've also learned my ability to love is way beyond anything I could have imagined. On the other hand my patience is as thin as a piece of paper. I'm working on that one. The list could go on and on of the the things I have learned. But I have recently learned that making cities on your kitchen floor with blue tape is really so much fun. I could have designed different cities for them all day long. This might be my new hobby! I think I liked making the city more than they liked playing with it but it took a good chunk of our afternoon and that was the goal!
