Happy Wednesday, peeps! I have a very quick card, I just whipped it up this morning using the FMS sketch:
John's birthday is Friday, and there are two things to remember when making John a card: he likes boats and ships, and he doesn't understand lots of layers and embellishments....it's just lost on him! So this is clean, simple and only has one little embellishment...some knotted twine...and since at every yard sale we go, he manages to find some rope or twine or something to add to his collection, I think he'll appreciate it! So here we go:
This image is from an old set I picked up at a yard sale; it's called Schooner and it is from 1998! Yikes, that's 20 years ago! Almost as old as John, LOL!! I paired it with some nautical DSP from a few years back, and added a current sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings and some Night of Navy baker's twine:
I loved the little anchors on the back side of my DSP, so I cut a narrow strip to put on the inside as well:
Thanks for popping in today! And here's the (almost) birthday boy, helping out with an Operation Christmas Child shoebox!
He unloaded all 118 boxes yesterday at a drop-off point to be shipped out to less-fortunate children! Enjoy your day and be blessed!
