Happy Friday, peeps!  Just a couple little Halloween things to share with you today!  I saw this adorable inspiration photo on the Papercraft Star challenge:
Our Next Challenge
LOL, these witches crack me up!  I had already started coloring a Mo Manning Halloween image, so my colors really didn’t coincide with the inspiration photo, but I thought I would play anyway:

I printed it off and colored it with some Copics….really quickly, not a lot of fancy-schmancy shading or highlighting here!  I added a little picket fence border and a retired SU sentiment matted on some Summer Starfruit embossed cardstock!   Her images just make me smile!  This is also for the Blogger's Challenge Friday, Witches and Goblins!
I always send my niece and nephew some Halloween goodies; now that my niece is in college, I have to send out TWO packages!  This is the tag I put on her animal-print gift bag:

And after seeing Mary’s project here, I decided to make my nephew one of these treat holders!  I haven’t done one of these for a long time, but they’re fun & easy.  I did mine with a 12x12 sheet of cardstock and some old Halloween paper scraps.  A little bit of stamping (he doesn’t really appreciate that part of it!!!) and it is in the mail:

We had some really warm weather a couple of days ago…perfect to play “house” in the yard, especially with some new Hello Kitty boots to keep our feet nice & dry!

CPS95

DSCF4099

I have two cards today, both winter birthdays, both use the same Card Patterns Sketch 95:

Print

The first is a masculine card; it uses a new SU set from the Occasions Mini called Plane & Simple, although other than the main compass image, you can’t see much of the other images!  Here you go:

I used Bravo Burgundy cardstock with some Figgy and Basics Kraft  BG papers.  I used two different sizes of Labels Four Nesties for my main image, as well as using the Small Star and Word Window punch for my embellishments.  The images are stamped in Chocolate Chip and Bravo Burgundy ink.

My next one is more feminine and fun; I used a really cute Mo Manning image; this little snowman seems to be very popular, as I’ve seen him around in several places!

I printed him on SU’s Shimmery White paper, which I have discovered works very well with Copics!  I did forget to add some glitter to his snow, so I’ll do that before I send this out!  The papers are from a kit that I won a while back at Taylored Expressions; the tinsel is some I picked up at a little shop nearby; I adhered some of the snowflake punchouts from the MS punch to the upper left side and added some itty bitty rhinestones for some shine.  I also had a glittered snowflake punchout from another project so I stuck that on there as well!  Here’s the inside, which uses a sentiment from Whippersnapper’s Winter Schminter:

If you have any questions, just email me!  And thanks so much for visiting today!  The countdown to Christmas is on, so who knows how much stamping/posting any of us will be able to accomplish in the next few days!  I am almost done….just a few last minute things to do!  How about you?

Getting the Tree

DSCF4012

I have had this Mo Manning digital image stamped and colored, sitting on my desk, for one year!!!  Yep!  I just didn’t know what to do with it…..I wanted to do something more than a card, but just wasn’t sure what.  I finally found a yard-sale frame, and thought that it would a nice way to highlight my watercolored image:

DSCF4010

Actually the frame is more silver-colored than shows here, and I always have issues photographing red cardstock, but I think you can get the basic idea of my little Christmas picture.  The digital stamp was printed on SU’s watercolor paper, then colored with an Aquapainter and various ink colors.  It is mounted on Basic Black and adhered to Real Red cardstock with some dimensionals.  I computer-generated the sentiment and plopped the whole thing in the frame!  Here’s a closeup of the artwork….I just LOVE her style!

Thanks for visiting today!!!  Off to do more baking!
