But right now it's time for another Paper Players challenge and my sweet friend Sandy is our hostess...and she's got a wonderful challenge for us, very appropriate for this time of the year, LOL! I am desperately (well, maybe not desperately) trying to use up some of my older DSPs and I found some cute MME Follow Your Heart papers with kites on them, because whenever I think of spring and sunshine, I think of playing outside and trying to fly a kite! Unfortunately, I am more like Charlie Brown and I never have much success! But in stamping, I can fly anything! So here we go:
This is pretty simple card...the base is Daffodil Delight, a wee bit over 6" x 3 3/4". I stamped the sun from Kinda Eclectic in So Saffron and the Jenni Bowlin silhouette in Basic Black.
I stamped "hello sunshine" from last year's Project Life's So You set, then cut out a kite from the same DSP and popped it up, adding some baker's twine and "bowties" from scraps of Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight DSP:
Since the card was an odd measurement, I also made a custom envelope for it in the same sunshiney colors!
