Paper Players 268
Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! Today, I am the hostess at the Paper Players with a sketch for you! Here you go:
Today I veered away from fall and Halloween creations again, giving my beloved Mint Macaron a little love! I needed a thank you card for someone who did me a big favor, so I cut some of the Color Collection DSP into strips, did a few layers of cardstock and added a sentiment from Friendly Phrases:
I rescued a Basic Black scallop that I had been chasing around my desk, unused from another project, added it beneath my circle, and stamped the “thank you” from the retired Itty Bitty Banners in Basic Black. The flower embellishments are from Endless Thanks, stamped and fussy-cut; the larger ones have a candy dot center; the smaller ones, I simply filled in with a black marker! Some narrow grosgrain ribbon finished it off!
I have to tell you, the designers outdid themselves with this sketch this week! I hope you’ll visit them all, then use their ideas to inspire you as well! Can’t wait to see what you create!

Squeaking in IB117
Hi peeps! I am squeaking in another card today, since I wanted to play with Laurel’s Inspired By challenge….haven’t done one of hers for a long time. Here’s the pretty inspiration photo:
I could think of several ways to use this inspiration. In the end, I chose to use the plaid, polka-dot and floral hexagons from Six-Sided Sampler:
I used shades of Blush Blossom, Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding, and added a diecut sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners and a shabby white seam binding bow:
I also used the sketch from RetroSketches:
These colors remind me of summer! Thanks for looking!

Paper Players 188
I used several images from Summer Silhouettes, as well as the Hardwood background stamp for my images. The sentiments are from Another Thank You and Itty Bitty Banners; two of them are heat-embossed. I cut off 1/2” from the front of this card, dry embossed the edge about 1 1/2” in, and attached the ruffle trim to the other inside edge. I used the colors from the Colour Me…! challenge #12. Aren’t they gorgeous?
A little time spent outside last week….I see lots & lots of yardwork; she sees stick fun!
Enjoy your day!
