My Sweet Friends

Hi peeps!  Happy Tuesday!  Today I want to share the projects we stamped on Sunday at my Hostess Appreciation party!  I have the sweetest friends....not only are they customers, but they are treasures to me!  After a yummy lunch (which most of them provided, LOL!), we played games, chatted, exchanged some gifts and of course, did some stamping!  Here are the projects they made featuring the SAB Precious Parcel Card Kit and the stamp set Fable Friends and Be Mine Framelits from the Occasions Mini catalog:

They got a chance to play with some Blends and the new Rectangle Stitched dies as well:

And it was "Stamper's Choice" for the Precious Parcel card; they could decorate it any way they liked, and stamp a sentiment from a choice of stamp sets:

Then they were presented with a challenge by Peggy to create cards for the Acts of Kindness Cards project, through the  Penn Medicine Abramson Center.  Cards of encouragement and hope are passed along to the patients there, and all the club members seemed eager and excited to help in this endeavor!  So you'll probably be seeing some of my creations on my blog!

Then we played a game where each person had to put on oven mitts and try to unwrap a gift (which had been wrapped many, many, many times) before the person next to her rolled a doubles with a pair of dice!  This game always brings a laugh, although I have to admit, these girls were pretty adept at unwrapping with mitts on!  The final unwrapping revealed a Christmas Traditions Punch Box!

Finally, they all settled down to stamp their projects:

I truly enjoy my friends...they keep me busy and make me smile!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Hostess Party Projects

Hi peeps!  Happy Thursday to all!  This past weekend I had my Hostess Appreciation party!  We ate some lunch, played a game and did some stamping with products from the Occasions catalog:

This was my favorite project, a little tissue holder created by my sweet friend Vicki!  You can see her project here!  It is amazingly easy and so cute!  I used Blushing Bride cardstock and Birthday Bouquet DSP with Greatest Greetings and What I love Stamp sets in Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder inks:

This little 4 1/4" square card uses the same DSP, Mint Macaron cardstock and a little honeycomb embellishment with some baker's twine:

and Honeycomb Happiness for this inside:

The third project was a wee little coffee cup (from a restaurant supply store), covered with some papers from the Love Blossom 6x6 stack.  It featured a little banner diecut of Rose Red cardstock and  an"xoxo" from Blushing Bride glimmer paper (both from the Circle Card thinlits):

The top of the lid has a sweet sentiment from Suite Sayings (what a great set!) and a glimmer paper heart:

And we filled it up with some Valentine candy!  We also did a paper heart from January's Paper Pumpkin kit!

Here are Alison, Joan, Kathy and Robyn, hard at work!!!

As well as Linda, Debbie, Lesley and Sandy!

Have a great day!

Hostess Appreciation Party

DSCF7297-001

Happy Monday, everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend! Yesterday was my appreciation party for all my hostesses, and we had a wonderful time!  We ate and laughed (a lot):

played games (they were challenging!):

and we stamped!  Here’s a quick peek at the projects we made:

A Valentine note card using the Stacked with Love DSP and Chalkboard Paper:

The hearts are from the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack; the “xoxo” is from the Circle Card Thinlit.  The inside used the sentiment and heart from Pictogram Punches stamped in Craft White ink and Real Red ink, and accented with the Chalk pen:

The next project was a Tiny Treat Box, which is 2” square, and covered with the cool Adventure Bound DSP (and filled it with Tootsie Rolls!!!!) :

We made a little tag for it using a sentiment from Something to Say and the heart from Epic Alphabet:

Finally, a fun little project using an envelope, some snazzy Best Year Ever DSP from the SAB catalog and the You Brighten My Day SAB stamp set:

I snagged this idea from Dawn Griffith, but for the life of me, I can’t find the post…anyway, you seal an envelope, adhere some DSP to the front, then use the Note Tag punch to punch out the corners one and a half times, leaving a “handle”.  Then we stamped a tag with the You Brighten My Day set and attached it to the front:

and then we put some shreddie inside and put a few kisses in there too!  This is easy enough for children to do….we’ll see if Cassidy will want to make one!

Some of the hostesses participated in a gift exchange, and I was really wowed by the projects they made!  Here’s a few of them:

A note holder made with an adding machine roll, wood and DSP:
