Paper Players 264
Happy Sunday, everyone! It’s time for another Paper Players challenge, and today, my sweet friend Claire has a boss sketch for us:
I couldn’t wait to play with this sketch! And can you believe it?! After I said I never use Rich Razzleberry, I have used it two times in a week! Crazy! I just got my Vintage Leaves stamp set and Leaflet Framelits, so I had to put them to use with some seasonal Farmer’s Market papers:
I used a retired Gingham wheel, stamped in Chocolate Chip, for my horizontal panel; the embossed panel was created with the new Softly Falling EF; and the tag was created with the Tags & Labels dies and stamped with a sentiment and “dots” from the current Paper Pumpkin kit:
Everything was sponged with Crumb Cake ink, and I wish I had done a better job with the leaf….it looks a bit splotchy! Oh well! I can’t wait to see what you all do with it…and be sure to check out the DT creations:
Have a blessed day!

Two Squares and ATC38
Happy Friday, peeps! The end of the work week and a holiday ahead for us Americans! I am sharing a couple of 4 1/4” square cards today…these are a fun little change from the standard A2 size! The first one uses a new In Color, Lost Lagoon, and I think it looks great with Soft Sky and Pistachio Pudding:
I stamped the flowers from Summer Silhouettes in Lost Lagoon; one was “full-strength” and the second was stamped again without reinking. I also stamped the gingham panel (from the Gingham wheel that I unmounted from the wheel and added to cling mount to make it into a stamp) in Soft Sky and added some Soft Sky seam binding. The sentiment on the front is from Something to Say and on the inside, a fun little sentiment from Num Num:
My second card used a scrap of DP I had laying on my desk and the new Endless Birthday Wishes stamp along with the new File Tabs Edgelits.
I wasn’t sure what I would use these File Tabs for, but the “celebrate” sentiment fit on the tab perfectly:
I stamped the rest of the sentiment on a Chalk Talk diecut in Real Red and Pacific Point, and added some stars, glittered up as I did on the hearts from this post:
Since my diecut goes off the side of the card, I am entering this in the Addicted to CAS challenge 38, “Off the Edge”!
A little pudding enjoyment:
And our baby robins have hatched! Not too attractive, but here they are:
Hopefully, they’ll be opening their eyes soon and mama will be busy feeding them!
Enjoy your day!

FMS124 & CTD280
Phew, it’s Friday! YAY! I am hoping this week is on its way to settling down! I have had this card made for two days and haven’t had a chance to post it! It uses the Color Throwdown colors for this week:
and the Freshly Made Sketches sketch from Karren:
Now, in my haste, I totally missed that the sentiment was supposed to be at the TOP LEFT…but I am submitting it anyway and since I love the three panels sketch, I may just do another one! I need to bulk up my birthday card supply! So here we go:
I stamped the three panels with the Gingham Wheel, and added an embossed background (which is difficult to see), a couple of stars and a little denim doodad, finished off with some candy dot brads. I had most of these supplies already on my desk from my last card, LOL!
I unmounted my Gingham Wheel and adhered it to some clear-mount cling foam (you can find this on page 197 of the current SU catalog) to make it a bit easier to use. Now off to run some errands! But first, a little Cassidy pic getting her creative on:
Spritzing:
sponging:
and cutting (we’re still working on scissors skills, LOL!):
Enjoy your day!
