Happy Tuesday, peeps! Feels like Monday, doesn't it? Well, sort of...all the days run together lately! I had a little time to stamp yesterday before our little picnic, and made a couple of birthday cards to replenish my supply! This one uses the sketch from Global Design Project as well as the colors from Cupcake Inspirations Challenge:
I love both of these! And here's my creation:
I used the retired set Gorgeous Grunge to repeatedly stamp a black and vanilla strip for the top and bottom portion of my card, and layered on a pretty piece of Best Dressed DSP. I am sad to see the Perennial Birthday set go; I think I'll keep it around for a while! I stamped and embossed it in black and watercolored it with Blushing Bride ink, then fussy cut it out:
I layered it on some black and white baker's twine and adhered it to the edge of a Basic Black circle that encases a Very Vanilla circle that was embossed with the new Ornate Floral EF. I stamped a sentiment from the same set and free-handed cut it out:
On the inside, I stamped a big sentiment and some Blushing Bride flowers:
Another one for my stash! Thanks for popping in today! Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new Card Concept challenge too!
It felt great to get outside and play some cornhole! I am going to need lots of practice if I am to be any good at this at all! Cassidy beat Grampy, but he was throwing left-handed, so I am not sure how fair it was!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!
