Five Little Banners

Hi peeps! It's Wednesday, and it's February, and I just couldn't resist making another Christmas card!  Debbie's challenge at Merry Monday is to use five of something, and the Jingle Belles want to see stickers!

I have had these sweet BoBunny chipboard stickers for a while....I got them while visiting my friend Sandy in Long Island!!!  So I popped out five little banners and strung them up on my card:

The notepaper is from MME's All is Bright pad; some of the designs were preprinted, but I did stamp "Believe" and a vintage Santa:

as well as a little pair of bells and the sentiment (wish I had done a brighter red!) on the front:

And aren't these little banners SO CUTE?!

They look like little cookies, I want to eat them up!  Another card for my stash!  Thanks for popping in today!

Cassidy's "daycare" children....an odd assortment, if I do say so myself.  She cracks me up!

Baby Girl Card

Happy Friday, peeps!  Well, yesterday I told you I made a baby boy card when I should have made a baby girl card!  Ooops!  So today, I've got the right card for you!  Again, I'll share this at the Stamp, Ink Paper blog for their baby challenge, and this time, I used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch:
                 SIP Theme 45 800

I found this sweet bannered paper on which I thought a vintage baby coach would look lovely!  I stamped it in Strawberry Slush ink, then added a little scrap on the left, some Summer Starfruit ribbon and as an afterthought, because it looked a bit naked, part of a doily:

The baby coach is from a company called Cloud 9, and the sentiment is from a very old Inque Boutique set, stamped in Hello Honey.  I just love the faux stitching on the paper:

And isn't this a sweet image?

The whole shebang was mounted on a Sahara Sand card, cuz that's what I had laying on my desk!  Call me lazy!

Well, last week we were running around in shorts and this week, we needed to unpack our longjohns!!  Crazy spring!

Enjoy your day!

Three Baby Cards

DSCF6362
Hey there, everyone!  I am posting very, very late today, but I had a card whose challenge is almost over, so I wanted to squeak it in!  I needed three baby cards this week for friends!  Two girls and a boy, lots of fun stamping!  So here’s the first one, using one of my favorite layouts:
LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Tiny Treats Baby Card
I used Papertrey’s Tiny Treats set, stamping each critter in Memento black and coloring them in with Copics.  The DSP is Confetti Celebration, and I used Garden Green and Chocolate Chip for the mats that were punched with the Postage Stamp punch.  The sentiment is from the retired Nursery Necessities set, stamped on a banner and embellished with a candy dot.
My next two both use the same MME papers, just different images and layouts:

The one above uses images and a sentiment from Cloud 9’s Baby set; I stamped it in Basic Gray, and also added the retired A to Z stamp on the background paper for a little additional interest.  I added a scalloped circle mat in Pink Pirouette and some pink gingham. The single-word sentiment qualifies this for the City Crafter Challenge this week too!
Finally, using some of the same papers, I used a Shoe Boutique image from Cornish Heritage Farm, coloring it with markers:

I added a shabby bow with SU’s Very Vanilla seam binding and a charm I snagged at a yard sale:

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Kraft Journal 190

DSCF5331

Hi everyone!  It’s Wednesday—yay, halfway through the week!  The sketch at the Kraft Journal was a bit challenging, so I decided to go for it:

My sister just found out she’s going to be a grandmom in April!  She’s over-the-moon excited, so it gave me a chance to use a little vintage baby set I got recently:

I stamped the images in Early Espresso; the DSP was some scraps I had in my scrap pile!  The sentiment is from And Many More, cut out with a Nestie banner die.  I’m pretty excited about her news too!

Cassidy’s first day of preschool went very well, although she wouldn’t tell me too much about it!  She said she had fun, though!

Merry Monday 123

DSCF4745
Happy Monday, everyone! Time for another Merry Monday challenge! Before we get to it, though, I want to remind you that three of my favorite stampers will be sharing a little bit about themselves via the Creative Blog Hop today.  Please check out their blogs:  Sandy, Joanne and Claire!  Stop by and leave them a little love!

Bonnie is our Merry Monday hostess today, and here is the challenge she’s come up with:

Bonnie makes the most amazing cards!  For her challenge, I again chose a simple design with a simple wreath, using a tag I had diecut and was already laying on my desk:

I stamped my wreath in Mossy Meadow, then mounted it on a stitched mat in some retired Wintergreen DP.  I added a few ribbons to the tag and some silver “ornaments”

I added a silver embossed panel and stamped my sentiment in silver as well; and here’s the inside:

I hope you’ll play along with us and make a wreath-themed card!  You’ll be able to add one more card to your Christmas card stash!  And be sure to check out all the designers’ creations at the Merry Monday blog!
One of Cassidy’s gifts for her birthday was a nice little two-wheeler.  She’s adept at tricycles, but the two-wheeler proved a little more challenging:

We’ll keep working on that!
