AYSI 068 and CFC135

DSCF7077

Happy Saturday, peeps!  I am playing with some more of my new goodies; this is a sneak peek of a SAB set called Simply Wonderful, along with the Stacked with Love DSP and Chalkboard Specialty paper:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Simply Wonderful Stampin Up

I stamped the sentiment with White Craft ink on the Chalkboard paper; I added some Blushing Bride twine, and three little felt flowers cut with the Flower Fair die, embellished with some Paper Pumpkin sequins!  Super cute and simple!  I used the As You See It sketch:

and the Felt & Sequins challenge from CAS-ual Fridays:

I did find that you need to heat-set the white craft ink, or you really get a “chalky” effect, LOL:

And Crystal Effects works great to adhere the sequins:

Thanks for visiting today!  Be sure to come back tomorrow when we resume the Paper Players challenge!

Three Little Spools

DSCF2406

Happy Saturday, everyone!  Just a quick CAS card today—for some reason lately, I am attracted to monochromatic palettes!  Here ya go:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Love U Sew Much Stampin

This project is for three challenges!  Colour Me…! has a beauty in blues:

CAS-ual Fridays has a “three thirds” challenge (love my threes!),

and that seemed to fit the Fusion Card challenge:

These cute little spools of thread from Paper Smooches’ Needle Little Love set were just perfect with their little chevron pattern!  I stamped them in Palette Noir, colored them with markers and a blender pen, then added a Pacific Point ribbon to cover up the fact that I cut down a rectangular stitched mat to a square, LOL!

Enjoy the day and be sure to come back tomorrow for our next Paper Players challenge!

Gift Box and Tag

DSCF1318

Howdy, peeps!  Sneaking in this afternoon (before I start baking some cookies) with a little gift box and tag with a country feel:

DSCF1315

This little box is one of my favorites, but I can’t find it on SCS and I am pretty sure that’s where I got it!  I like to make these and fill them with candy and a gift card for my nieces and nephews for Christmas!   It was cut from a kraft Christmas paper slab I got recently; I used SU’s Holiday Collection Framelit to cut out the Christmas tree opening, then used white Stazon to stamp some snowflakes on a piece of acetate and backed the opening with it:

I added a glimmer paper star and a sentiment I had made for another card, but ended up not using!  Glad to get that off my desk!  I added a little “bow” from some of the crinkly paper stuff that I can’t remember the name of:

DSCF1317

And since I had the Christmas tree diecut also laying on my desk, I made a tag, (which I don’t normally do because they get tossed in the trash), but the CASual Fridays challenge 80 this week is tags, so I went for it!

A scrap of Cherry Cobbler, another glimmer star and it was done!  The box is for The Kraft Journal’s Make it Monday challenge of Holiday Gifts.  Thanks for visiting today!

I took a little walk with Cassidy up to my SIL’s yesterday, as she had all four of her grandchildren there, ranging in age from from 2 weeks to 2 1/2 years!  What a fun day!  Cassidy was trying to play with one-year-old Jack, but every time she gave him a toy, he threw it on the floor…which he thought was great fun, but Cassidy didn’t understand the game!

She said, “HERE….TAKE IT!”  Can you see that look of frustration?!  LOL!

Triple CAS

DSCF0117-001

Hi peeps!  A three-challenge card today!  Here are the challenges:

A sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #2:

A CAS challenge from CAS-ual Fridays:

and an inspiration photo from Inspired By #46:

And here we go:

DSCF0114-001

This card didn’t turn out at all the way I had first envisioned it!  I fiddled with a couple little images, didn’t like them, chucked them, tried something else, chucked that, then remembered these pretty chipboard stickers I had…and the colors in this butterfly matched the necklace pretty well!  I made the card a wee bit narrower so that it will fit into a normal envelope even with the butterfly hanging over the edge.  A little bit of baby powder patted on the sticky side keeps it from sticking to the envelope!

DSCF0116-002

Can you see the glitter on the wings?  So pretty!  I added an Artistic Outpost sentiment and a little flower (the rule of three) to finish it off.  Oh, and the mat is Sahara Sand with Distressed Dots stamped in craft white!  Thanks for visiting today!

Cassidy is taking Lambie for a walk in the yard….but he has to be sitting in the cart just so!

CFC73 in Pink!

DSCF8803

Just a quick post today---we had a lovely Saturday morning, pancakes, yardsales, puttering!  A great day!  I made a few quick cards for the top sellers in my downline:

DSCF8801

I used the challenge from CAS-ual Fridays:

“For the Girls”….celebrate the girls in your life!  I definitely am thankful for my downline girls!  I don’t thank them ENOUGH!  I used the Papaya Collage set with a sentiment from Blessings from Heaven, stamped in the pink hues of Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red, in celebration of Breast Cancer Month!  Thanks for popping in today and be sure to stop back tomorrow when I am the hostess for the Paper Players!

Here’s my wee little pink thing herself!  A hot mess!

ColourQ150

DSCF6002
Happy, happy Tuesday, everyone!  Arielle has an incredible fresh and fun palette for us today….these colors make me want to sing!
cqc150
I went real clean and simple with my card today because the bold, bright colors and patterns in this little purse just cry out for it, plus it’s also for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge #65, which is to make a square card:
LeAnne_CQC150
I love combining images from different sets; this one uses Fabulous Florets and Papaya Collage.  I masked the flower before stamping the greenery:
DSCF6001
I didn’t do it on this one, but if your image has gaps where the edge of your mask is, you can always fill it in with a marker or blender pen and ink.
This card went together so easily, I did another one, this time using the greenery from Summer Silhouettes:
DSCF6007
On this one, I DID fill in my leaves with a Lucky Limeade marker.  The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen.  I just happen to need a couple of thank you cards, so now I am all set!  I can’t wait to see what you crafty stampers do with these colors---flutter on over to the ColourQ blog to share and peruse!

CFC62 & CASology

 DSCF5573

Gosh, there are so many fun challenges out there that I want to try and just not enough time in the day!  A new one on the block is CASology, where you have a cue word each week!  This week’s cue word is “happy”!  I combined it with the CAS-ual Fridays challenge this week, which is to use a black base for your card.  The samples there are ADORABLE!  Anyway, there are lots of things that make ME happy on this card:

 DSCF5574

I love polka dots; I love scallops; I love the colors of yellow, black and white together, and I love heat embossing on vellum and coloring the underside with markers!!!  These all make me happy!

DSCF5576

I also think these sentiments from Petite Pairs are two of the happiest!

 DSCF5575

I have a girlfriend whose birthday is almost exactly a month later than mine (and she reminds me that this makes her always YOUNGER than I am) so I’ll add a birthday sentiment to the inside when I figure which one I like best and this will be her card!!!  If you have any questions about my products or techniques, buzz me with an email!

Yesterday I shared how Cassidy spent time in the garden…..today, she’s playing in a drywall bucket full of bird seed.  This kept her occupied for at least half an hour.  She got some on the driveway, but it’s birdseed…..someone will eat it!!!
