<p>L'altre dia estava en un bar, i un noi em va demanar foc per |

encendre un cigarret. De cop em vaig adonar que allà hi |

havia una demanda i diners a embutxacar-se, així que vaig |

acceptar encendre-li el cigarret a canvi de 10 penics. Però |

no li vaig donar directament el foc, sinó que li vaig vendre |
| 35 |
una llicència per encendre el cigarret. La meva llicència no |
| 36 |
li permetia donar foc a ningú més, al cap i a la fi aquell |
| 37 |
foc era propietat meva. Ell havia begut i em va prendre per |
| 38 |
boig, però va acceptar el meu foc (i per tant la llicència |
| 39 |
que governava el seu ús). Com era d'esperar en qüestió de |
| 40 |
minuts un amic seu li va demanar foc, i vaig veure |
| 41 |
escandalitzat com li donava el cigarret a l'amic perquè |
| 42 |
pirategés el meu foc! Estava furiós. Em vaig començar a |
| 43 |
obrir pas cap a aquella banda del bar, però, per horror meu, |
| 44 |
l'amic va començar a encendre cigarrets d'altres persones, |
| 45 |
aquí, allà, i per tot arreu! En poca estona tota aquella |
| 46 |
zona estava disfrutant del MEU foc sense haver-me pagat res. |

Enfurismat, vaig anar de persona en persona prenent-los els |
| 48 |
cigarrets de les mans, llençant-los a terra, i |
| 49 |
trepitjant-los.<p> |

<p>Sorprenentment el personal de seguretat no |

va demostrar cap respecte per la meva propietat, mentre |
| 52 |
m'arrossegaven cap a la porta.</p> |
