Indie Games Con
Posted by Seth on Monday, October 4 2004

We're leaving for America tomorrow to visit my parents and attend the Indie Games Con

So as usual this means as soon as I leave something major will break.    But this time I've got some backup systems in place and full remote access so hopefully we'll be alright.

Despite wasting too much time in World Of Warcraft (special thanks/blame to Hamumu for hooking me up) I'm hard at work on a new ultra-secret project!

More mobile projects finished

Our "Client products" page has been updated with new commercial games we worked on for the Tapwave Zodiac and the BREW platform.

We're moving!
Posted by Seth on Friday, August 13 2004

Due to general slowness and and recent DNS issues we'll be moving to a new superfast, super bandwidth server in the very near future.

This will be my first web server with root access so let's hope I don't screw it up too bad!

The move will happen over the next week, no downtime is expected but you know how these things go.

Toolfish 2.03 released

The worlds handiest set of tools just got handier.  V2.03 of Toolfish Utility Suite is now available.

It's a free upgrade.

Toolfish upgrade in beta, Innerbody mini-game available
Posted by Seth on Sunday, June 20 2004

Toolfish 2.03 in beta, now with server side IP detection and other neat crap:

Check the beta area if you've like to give it a go and look for bugs.  It will probably be released in a week or so.

I've been slowly working through the site and fixing/updating things... one thing I finally got around to is packing up my last 48 hour game into an installer and putting it up for download.  Get InnerBody here, and if you missed it before, my other 48 hour entry, Bathroom Teacher, is up too.

Bear with me as I continue to mess with the site.  Although I may have to quit work because in a few hours a typhoon will cross directly over my town towards the sea of Japan.  Looking forward to it.

Don't hate me because I'm fast
Posted by Seth on Monday, June 14 2004

My hou.. er, office I mean just got a sweet 100 mbit fiber connection and it pretty much rocks.  It's twice the speed of a T3. Yes, I am a bastard.  One that downloaded DirectX 9 in 3 seconds.   Too bad my ping still sucks to the US.

In other news I finished up some mobile commercial games (Zodiac & BREW) for a client based on very popular licenses, more info when they are actually released.  The zodiac game was shown at E3 in the Tapwave booth.

I updated the unlock code server to give more descriptive messages to people and to not use certain letters that are error prone to enter.  (l looks like 1, 0 like O... best to not use 'em in unlock keys, not everybody can cut and paste I guess)

I've been turning down projects so I can work on my indie stuff so it's looking really fun.  But if something just too tasty comes along I may have to think hard.. dunno.

Woke up to 5000 pieces of german spam, yay.

Dungeon Scroll Multi-Language edition beta
Posted by Seth on Wednesday, March 31 2004

I've put together a beta version of Dungeon Scroll that supports seven languages. (English, German, French, Danish, Spanish, Italian, Swedish)

Dungeon Scroll Multi Language Edition beta

There are still some issues, such as converting the words to 7-bit (umlauts and things are removed) and the letter distribution and vowel count is still based on english, which probably isn't good.

But I'd like to hear any comments/suggestions.

Back from GDC, rtsoft site mostly repaired
Posted by Seth on Monday, March 29 2004

Back from the GDC, has a cool time as usual, met a lot of people, hung out with super talented indies and met some gaming legends!

The RTsoft automated registration system has been fixed and is working again.

All delayed orders have been sent out!

The only broken thing is the forums, I'll get on that tomorrow.

[Update] Forums are back online.
