Purpose: This is a skinnable front end: you can not only run D-mods with this file, but you can also make a skin for the front end.

Installation: You have to run the programme and it then will unzip itself.

Use: The front end is very simple in use: there are play, edit and quit buttons, but that is default. You can change that if you want to, by adjusting/making a skin.

Good: You get actually two for the 'price' of one; not only the front end, but also the possibility to adjust a skin, or to make your own. There is a tutorial for the making of skins. The tutorial is easy to read and explains well what all the different items are about.

Not so good: The tutorial is not a step by step guide to let you see how to adjust or make your own skin, but merely a summary of what the different lines are about. Since I had never made a skin, I had to experience a bit to adjust an existing skin. I guess you indeed could make your own if you experience some more and study the tutorial, but I am not that desperate to make a new skin, so I did not do that. A step by step tutorial that shows you how to make one from scratch and that includes examples would be a good addition though and then I would give it a try.

Overall: A very nice front end.

Fit for: If you want to make a skin for your front end.

I think this file is very useful because:
- When you just want to click and play, it's excellent
- You can adjust it to your own flavour (the skins)
- you can see the dmod info
- you can edit a dmod with dinkedit just by pushing the edit button
- it's (like redink says) the best one available.
But if you want more, you'd better make your own frontend.

The best frontend available. It supports a fun and easy skinning method, and when combined with the Skin Pack, it is the best looking frontend as well. However, it is slightly limited... you can't disable sound, put it in debug mode, and so on. But it covers all the basics (Play, Edit, and Quit) and makes every other Dink Frontend look like child's play.
