It was a dark, and blingy evening...

...THE perfect time to get CRAFTY!

I wanted to MAKE something cool...
...it had to be snappy!

A little EcoGreen™ paint, and Want2Scrap™ bling -
mixed up all together: the PERFECT thing!

A ghoulish delight - creative loot, in my sight...
For it would soon be... a FUN crafty night!

Patterned paper, festooned
with print-styles, a-plenty...

A wash of white paint 'n gloss medium,
painted gently...

A wash, most transparent...
the perfect recipe...

Some MASKING, and basking...
in glorious paint, yes, siree!

Mixed well, with gel medium,
for subtle effects...

...a frightening, MYSTERIOUS amount of text
peeking through, MOST eeeeeer-ily,
it makes me, so HA-PPY!
{I'm CHEERING, cheerilyyyy!}

The shine of the moon...

a most haunting sky...

A whole bunch of glue,
to rapidly dry...

Firmly rubbed from the front, till smooth it would be,
a slice from the backside - marks an "x" perfectly!

Some folding and gluing to hold ends down tight...
for the front of this frame will soon give you a fright!

Want2Scrap™ puts out laser-cuts, for ev-ery season!
So detailed and beautiful - they give so much reason...
for scrapbooks and crafts and cards filled with glee...
when THIS one didn't fit right, I merely cut off the tree...

No worry, I saved it! That small, detailed nub.
By coating with gloss medium, to the roof, up above!

You can't even tell. I feel clever, now. These images,
such a value, will make you go, "WOW!"... SO, click
in YOUR cart, when that big order you start...

Want2Scrap™ has much MORE than bling,
there's all KINDS of stuff -
I hope you'll check EVERYTHING out...
SOME is NEVER enough.

For one final effort, one more little thing
I painted a ghost -
be-speckled with bling...

A fine, haunting sight, to recall spooky nights
I know right where to find it,
GOOD STUFF and no duff!

That's why, this I'm sharing, the fun never ends
Want2Scrap™ sells the goods - LOVE THEM ALL,
Amen.

Spooky Luminaries light up the night!

Hello friends! Today I am excited to share a holiday project with you!

Want2Scrap™ has wonderful laser cuts, so very intricate, and I snapped up these three a little while back in the hopes of making some fun new Halloween decor. From left to right:
I also had two glade candles in the perfect shade of orange to use for this project.

I started by separating the witch laser cut from the white cardstock moon.

Add adhesive to the backside of the laser cut. I chose a repositionable one in case I needed to move things around and also because any excess would be easy to rub off of the glass once the laser cut was applied to the candle holder.

I was careful to get all of the tiny details coated in adhesive.

In this case I trimmed the overhanging part of the laser cut and repositioned it according to the size of the candle holder.

Perfect fit!

She's spooky huh? I love the great orange glow of the candle behind the black laser cut. Now, I would be remiss if I didn't lend a bit of caution...the laser cuts are paper so be sure and practice safe candle burning habits. For a similar effect use a glass container and a battery operated mini light if you plan to leave this luminary unattended.

OoooooooOOOooooooh! I think I feel the first crisp breezes of Autumn.
I hope your Halloween is spooktacular!

Soccer season with flair!

Hi Want2Scrap fans! Today I'm here to showcase the fabulous laser designs that Want2Scrap™ has available along with how simply adding bling and Nestabling™ can up the *flair* factor on your sports themed layout!

For this layout, I chose the Soccer ball pair - Single large and the Soccer Ball Title Strip Vertical from our laser designs. The precise cuts on the fine details are amazing and I love how they came with a white laser cut backing that is lightly tacked on to either use as is like I did or so you can separate the black cut from the white backing enabling you to layer the cuts with the background of your choosing. More great soccer themed items are linked here:

This layout holds a surprise.....7 of them in fact! The circle punched flip tab illuminated with Royal Blue Rhinestones - Package of 72 - Self Adhesive marks the opening to a photo booklet in two spots on my layout. These low profile booklets hold 7 additional favorite photos from my daughter's soccer season.

This way, I can scrap a whole season in a single two-page layout. Perfect!
Another fun thing to do is to use a preprinted journaling card among the 4x6 photos...here my daughter has recorded her own thoughts about playing soccer.
More Royal Blue Rhinestones - Package of 72 - Self Adhesive accent the star brad embellishment and the title ribbon using alpha stickers from Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker to coordinate with the rest of the page.

I like to use a precision glue, like Zip Dry™ from Beacon Adhesives™, for adhering the fine laser cuts of our Want2Scrap™ Laser Cuts
And last but certainly not least....
I crafted a sports themed banner using the Nestabling™ Pennants Silver Rhinestones. Have you ordered up your Nestabling™? Isn't it beautiful??

Thanks so much for your visit!

Growing Up 4-H

Hi there!  Dana here with a layout using Want 2 Scrap bling, ribbon and laser die cuts!  I was overjoyed to find that Want 2 Scrap carries 4-H die cuts.  4-H is a youth organization that my girls are currently involved in and one I enjoyed for 10 years as a youngster and am now back in the parent volunteer roll as their Arts and Crafts leader.  They also happen to be involved in the Rabbit project as well as the Cooking project this year.  Check out these darling bunnies with my darling girls!

I wanted to showcase these treasured pictures using Want 2 Scraps laser cuts that closely represent the official 4-H logo.  It is many times difficult to find such a thing for organizations like 4-H, Girls Scouts, etc.  I balanced the official looking logo and the ledger paper elements with lots of girlie touches like ruffled ribbon, pearl bling, scallops, doily, and new papers from the Cosmo Delovely collection.  The backdrop 12x12 DP is from K&Co and is part of their Girl Scouts collection.

The ribbon ruffle can be easily accomplished using a strip of high tack adhesive and then finger folding and tacking the ribbon at various spots along the strip of tape.  For a "flatter" ruffle fold ribbon, add bits of liquid fabric glue (I'm a fan of Fabri-tac) under the folds or perhaps a glue dot.  And check out the green pearl bling!  Isn't it wonderful??

Here's close-up of the large die cut 4-H clover.  The smaller 4-H clovers actually come in a strip but I could easily seperate them into individuals with a snip of my scissor.  For tons of unique laser cut shapes, be sure to visit the Laser Designs area of Want2Scrap.

Thanks so much for coming by today!
