My Favorite 2012 Want2Scrap Projects

Wow as I sit here typing my post for today I am reflecting on all of the projects that I have created over the last year using the amazing products created by Want2Scrap. Some of them are albums, altered art pieces and even some jewelry, did you know you could create jewelry with Want2Scrap products?

Here is a broach created using Want2Scrap Fancy Tags Two Nestaboard and Nestabling Fancy Tags Two Silver Rhinestones.

Here is a mixed media pin using Want2Scrap Baby Bling Red Rhinestones and Designer Embellies Paper Dolls.

I just love the way Graphic 45 paper collections and Want2Scrap bling work so perfectly together!
For this card, I used Nestaboard Labels Eleven, Nestabling Labels Eleven Silver Rhinestones and Finesse Swirls Pearls.

This altered piece started out as a $.25 yard sale find and was featured on the front cover of Just Steampunk Two Magazine so see even those yard sale finds become treasures. For this treasure I used Want2Scrap Nestaboard Sprightly Sprockets and Nestabling Sprightly Sprockets Silver Rhinestones.

And lastly one of my all time favorites..... Corset Fancy Chipboard Album, this album was a lot of work but so much fun, from the Nestabling Fancy Tags Two Silver Rhinestones and Nestaboard Fancy Tags Two to all of the 72 Count Black Pearls and Finesse Swirls Black Rhinestones.

Fall Recipes with Want2Scrap!

Hello Everyone Terre here with a Fall Recipe album, these Want2Scrap albums are fun, creative ideas to give as gifts. If you have a daughter, daughter-in-law or even just a special friend and maybe it is there first time cooking a Thanksgiving Dinner, wouldn't it be a great gift especially if you pass down some of your favorite family recipes. This adorable chipboard album is the Want2Scrap Grand Chipboard Album - Scalloped Squares perfectly matched to Spellbinder Grand die templates. I bet you even noticed those beautiful swirls.....they are my favorite I like all the colors they come in as they are just the perfect size! The ones used on this album are the Swirls Finesse - Brown Rhinestone - 2 Pack - Self Adhesive.

The chipboard letters are perfect size for both these mini albums as well as scrapbooking, Chubba Bubba - Chipboard Alphabet, don't you just love them!!! I inked the letters with Clearsnaps Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk.

I also used another new alphabet that Want2Scrap released as CHA, Chubba Bubba - Corrugated Alphabet

I used Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry to adhere all of my pages and alphabet letters to my pages.

Want2Scrap & My Little Shoebox

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

Today I am showing you a layout I created using Want2Scrap  & My Little Shoebox, make sure you visit My Little Shoebox as they are having a blog hop and featuring Want2Scrap products along with their own amazing lines of products, make sure you leave a comment on their blogs and Facebook and tell them that Want2Scrap sent you.

For this layout I used My Little Shoebox's "Music To My Ears Paper Collection"

I used my favorite Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestones - 2 Pack - Self Adhesive, added some buttons, and rolled flowers from MLS, stitched the pattern paper and added a banner title.

Inked the edges with Clearsnap fluid chalk, tied some bakers thread to the banner and added it to the corner.

Fanciful Fairies



Here is a decorative wall hanging with Fanciful Fairies and beautiful butterflies with lots of Want2Scrap bling. I love using Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime collection of paper, it fits so nicely with just about every type of bling you will find at Want2Scrap.



I just love using Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestones - 2 Pack - Self Adhesive on just about every project I create. Just look how amazing those Wonderful Wings Bling matched Spellbinders Wonderful Wings die templates.



I hand trimmed the flowers and added 72 Count - Black Pearls - Self Adhesive to the center and brushed on some Diamond Stickles to the petals. I also inked up Chipboard Embellishments - Pack of 4 - Style A and used it as a base for my fairies and flowers. The stamp that I used is from Quietfire Designs, I die cut S4-328 Foliage die template from Spellbinders and sanded and inked each leaf using Clearsnaps Fluid Chalk Chestnut Roan, pinched up a bit to add some dimension. After I had all my pieces cut, and assemble I adhered them to my wall hanging base using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry, and there you have it a vintage wall hanging perfect for a little girls room. Life's Little Lessons

Hello, Terre here with another album for your viewing pleasure! This album was created using the Grand Series Chipboard Album Labels Twenty-Three from Want2Scrap. Look real close.... do you see that beautiful paper? Guess what you can also find that at Want2Scrap, it is the new line of designer paper from Susan K. Weckesser.

It is fun to hand trim pieces from the pattern paper and pop them up to add dimension.



Did you know that you could use the Nestabling with out having the coordinating die template, see just look how amazing the Nestabling Pearl Scalloped Hearts look on this page.

 

If you haven't noticed there is a stamped sentiment on each page, some of them are words from the heart others are just an encouraging thought. This album is an inspirational album filled with special feelings, it was amazing how perfect the paper, bling and chipboard accents from Want2Scrap made this album come together.

 

Don't you just love how these Antique Keys and Keyholes - Silhouette make the pages just pop, add a few 72 Count Hot Pink Rhinestones and wow just look at them shine!

This page just screams fun, I think we all should just go paint the town red, what do you think?

 

This page reminds me that no one could ever take my mom's place, and I hope that my own children feel the same way about me. The Chipboard Charlies Birdcage Silhouette makes me think of my children who have left home and my little one who is still part of the nest. I know crazy right?

Just look at all that pretty swirly bling, I think it just goes with everything! Don't you?

You can create a page just by trimming pieces and popping them up just like the flowers and the bird, add some B.Y.O.B. 2 (build your own bling) Donna Salazar Design to make it look like the bird is flying...just perfect!

Japanese Flare with Want2Scrap

Here we are again with yet another beautiful, creative album that you can only find right here at Want2Scrap! Have you seen all the different styles to choose from, well if you all have been following all the albums that I have been creating then you know how amazing the albums really are, just like this one right here.... the Gates of Love!



For the front of the album, I mixed Sakura Hobby Craft 3D Crystal Lacquer and Terri Sproul Mixer Shimmer Tanzanite powder and painted it on the front, then I used my heat gun to make it bubble. Once it was cooled I sanded the front with sand paper then sponged on some acryclic white and peony mixed to soften the color. But I'm not finished yet....it still didn't have the exact look i was shooting for so I took my trusty Clearsnap Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk and did a little distressing...there that's what I'm talking about...DONE! Just add some Want2Scrap 72 Count Black Pearls and there you have it!

So by now you are saying wow what pretty paper this is well yes it is the new collection called Bird Song from Graphic 45 who just happens to be one of the Want2Scrap's Preferred Product Partners. Doesn't that look amazing with the Swirls Finesse Black Rhinestones from Want2Scrap?

Once Upon A Bling Time!!!



So I am sure that everyone has been enjoying all of the new releases that Want2Scrap has designed for this new CHA release. I thought I would share one of their new amazing chipboard album, one of my personal favorites…..Lattice Chipboard Album!

This album was created using so many different types and styles of amazing BLING and guess what you can find them all right here at Want2Scrap…isn’t that so perfect.

For the cover of the album and my favorite part of the entire album, tulle was woven in between each of the Lattice slats and to make it pop even more, a Want2Scrap 72 Count White Pearls was placed in the middle of the Lattice X’s.

So grab a cup of coffee or tea because you are going to want to sit a while and take in each and every page, there is so much to look at, and you won’t want to rush.
