Phil writes: Just caught this on the 'Judy Garland Show' (Sky Arts). A great song, sensationally sung by the 21 year-old Streisand:

Phil writes: I've been a Streisand fan ever since I bought 'The Barbra Streisand Album' soon after it came out. This is remarkable. The song is unusual but you can't point to anything particularly great about the music or lyrics. Could anyone else produce such a great performance?

A classic duet

Phil writes: This didn't start as a duet. First Diamond and then Streisand recorded it before they got together when it made a convincing duet - unlike some you hear. The original recording can also be found on YouTube and musically it's probably better but as a performance this one is pure class:
