Fall Mantel #2!

Hi Everyone!  How is everyones weekend going?  Even though it is still hot here, it is sunny and the leaves are changing beautifully.   Today we wanted to share another Fall Mantel.  We stated with a magnolia garland which I cut, Denise taught me this(well taught me everything!) it is so much easier to use when you cut it into small sections. Then I filled it in with some different fall pics and used a hanging garland pic, which you can see hanging over the front of the mantel.

I added a decorated bow to the corner of the  picture frame.

I added a artificial grapevine garland around the picture frame that I painted.

We both use the battery operated candles all over our houses inside and out!

We hope you are having a great weekend and are enjoying all of the fall scents, colors, and atmosphere!  Take it in good because before we know it, it will be Christmas!!!!

Fall Mantel

Hi Everyone! Happy October!  We wanted to share another Fall Mantel we did.  We are pretty much done decorating for fall, BUT we always seem changing things and getting new ideas!  This mantel has been through alot.  It has been many different colors, and this is one of our favorites.  It is an antique white and then we added a glaze to finish.  It turned out great!
We used a natural mesh ribbon with some green berry pics, grapevine branch, and natural colored floweres.  I love these colors for fall!  It makes everything a little different and it is so cozy. We wanted to keep the bottom simple since we will be moving it soon for fires!! The candle holders are filled with natural berry balls, and we put a amber vase on top. We hope you are all enjoying all of your fall decorations.   We are still learning all about blogging, we would love to hear from you and know what you think!
