Just A Little Something For You

Hello, Welcome back today I'm showcasing this lovely  Saturated Canary Crafty Cat rubber stamp and layering many LDRS dies for a CAS card turnout.

I've been doing a lot of Kraft coloring these days, using my copic markers and pencils.

I stamped Saturated Canary Crafty Cat on cardboard cardstock from Bazzill and the end effect is amazing that gives an amazing pop of color.

I used my Polkadoodles Time for Tea 6x6 Paper pack to cut out these lovely intricate cuts and layer them over each other.
I had an idea of using the sentiment that comes in the ART-Z Penny Peacock stamps and dies set. That collection has so many sweet sentiments and the zentangle images are marvelous.

Kept the card simple and yet still full of depth with the help of the LDRS Dies.
You could find all the products used at the bottom of the post directing you directly to the item.

My next posts coming up soon will be CHA (I still call it cha ) creations, whohooo!

Thank you for visiting me today.
Have a lovely Day

I Brought The Cake

Hello I'm back with you today to share some more of the NEW Polkadoodles Time For Tea 6x6 design papers and this sweet

I colored my image with artist markers and simply fuzzy cut her out

I played with many LDRS creative dies to give dimension to my card and I used the pretty NEW Polkadoodles Time for Tea 6x6 papers... let me just say they're super super beautiful. I adore the colors and patterns. They coordinate so nicely with the images.

I have a line of dies that went into use to create my card. For my base I used Creative Basics Grace Build-a-Card Die kit. That created my white clean base with a beautiful trim circle. Then I layered all my die cuts with dimension tape.
Finished with a gold trim bow for a contrasting color. I hope I have inspired you today and get you creating. You could find the list of dies down below that went into use.
Have a wonderful day

Gwen DollHouse

I hope you're enjoying the Holiday weekend. Some of us just like to relax and craft :)
I enjoy coloring and take up some sun. I've been  going through a stage where I've been focusing on my coloring. A busy mom and all. One thing I can't stop doing is coloring because you probably heard it before YES,  It is therapeutic lol!

I need to color or I'll go crazy lol!
Today I'm showcasing Gwen from the DollHouse stamp collection.
I colored her with a combination of mediums from makers, pencils and watercoloring paints. I don't like to limit myself so if I think it needs another dimension I certainly reach for anything that will help me achieve what I'm looking for :)

I used a sentiment from the Wishing You set and added stitched Flags with a simple bow. I LOVE my picture border. I used Creative Basics Background Builder I to achieve that stitched trim.

With a few pieces I created a sweet clean thoughtful card that anybody could achieve.

Wishing all my USA friends a safe holiday weekend.

Enjoy your day

These dies are so addicting they can be used more than enough ways.
They are brilliant and they coordinate so nicely with our New sentiments.

How adorable is the sentiment RIGHT!!!

You're My #1 Friend

Hello friends I'm back and I'm really trying to keep up with my posts for December!! It's so hard lol!

Today I have some sweet twist using So Proud which I would give myself for keeping up with Dec blog postings :P
This Ribbon will be in display at CHA hopefully. I really liked the outcome of the creation from the coloring to the lace. Everything was created to compliment each other.

My image was stamped on Kraft paper colored with copics and finished with pencils. I didn't keep the recipe for this one because she was colored a while back and lost the recipe. The only thing was to finish the pony with majority pencils.

I cut out a circle using the Darling Square die set that is part of the collection. I stamped a sentiment from the Love Vintage Affections set and simply tucked it in between all the pretty flowers.

I have lots of work ahead of me and then we have Christmas EEEEK!

Kraft coloring Make It Crafty TAGS

Ok Peeps I'm back and WARNING POST is heavy on pictures due to a double creation.

It's my turn to share some inspiration for the Make It Crafty Team.
This month challenge is coloring on kraft paper with pink!!! AHHH!!! To say the least I was in panic mode because I'm not so sure of my pink coloring but after huffing and puffing and mind you this is take two lol! The first time my pink looked like red so I threw in the towel on that one. I tried picking some easy images that I thought would be simple and fast lol!
So that being said I went with these two lovely ladies

Sarah on the left and Loving Maya on the right
So yes I did it and it wasn't so bad after all.

I started with my copics on skin then hair and then went in  with my Polychromo pencils to touch that up and for the clothes it was all done with just pencils. Shading was done with cool Greys and warm. Kraft paper and pencils really work well together It has this pop that you can't get from the markers due to the texture of the kraft paper.

My worry was using PINK LOL!

I didn't think I was going to be able to pull it through but it wasn't that scurry after all.
 Was hyperventilating for nothing tehee.

I created two fun shabby shic tags with lots of layering YIKES! I was going for CAS LOL!!!

This is Loving Maya she was my fun to color. I gave her some nice tone legs :)

Do you see my Squeezes sentiment from MIC HUGS word laser chipboard. You can't tell but it's actually popped out off the tag using some wire.

This is Sarah, I actually zoomed coloring her since I had gotten the use of things by then. The only thing was.... the BALLOONS! I don't know if ya notice but I REALLY don't like to color balloons shhhh!!! IDK why but ack lol!

lots of layering too and this on has the MIC Doodle Girlfriend laser chipboard popped out

Sorry for the heavy pictures but it was a lot to share today. I'll be back sooner or later lol!
Thanks for swinging by and have a great weekend

Hello I'm back!!!

HIYA GUYS!!!!
OMG how long has it been Oh I feel so bad leaving my corner so quiet. That had to be the longest I've gone without posting.

A few things have changed but first HAPPY BELATED HOLIDAYS LOL!
I have been over the top busy with that. After all the holiday commotion I went into a marathon of creating for CHA, just made it phew! Oh yeah and then at last the hubbies bday party.

So much to tell but won't do it all today lol!

New year and new adventures. With more time on my hands I'm hoping to get create  more coloring tutes here. That will be my MAIN goal.

Ok lets move on to today's posting.
YIKES! I am way late on this post lol! This was my coloring creation for the MIC challenge. It started on the 1st and I was up to share on the 14th. I did get to share it on the MIC store blog so you might of seen it there.
I have to be honest I either been so warned out so my coloring energy hasn't really been where I would like it to be lol! O_O

I had a scene using another Tress. which BTW this is Tress! One of the newest MIC digis. I was saying I had a scene going and then BLAH I had to stop. I wasn't really liking the result and had to jump into this one. All was well until I decided to add some sparkly back splash..... long story short I lost half of the coloring on the left side. I mean it was smeared and some was completely gone lol! Like you literally saw white spots. I had to recolor and try to save her eye lol! It was a hot mess but nevertheless I do like it if I hold it up far ha ha ha! but all kidding to the side.It almost does look dimensional IRL.

I hope you likes and please swing by again tomorrow. I will start sharing my CHA creations :)

I'm also a guest to somewhere ha ha ha You'll just have to come by to check it out on the 4th.

Melissa's Balloon muscle definition for MIC

Guess what MIC challenge blog has a very fun exciting theme. This time as you know you have the option of playing an easy challenge which is using skin tone colors you usually DON'T use and the harder one for some is defining bone and muscle structure.

I actually have the tendency to do this to many of my images. Well I try lol! but I have to say I might of picked the wrong image to do this one lol! Ok can you say "Orphan" much lol! (crazy good movie)

I colored MIC Melissa's balloon and as you can see she seems a little over the edge as is and I enhanced her muscles......... baaahaaaa  ummmm yeah ...... I wouldn't get close to her. I think what helped tone her down was those chubby cheeks me thinks.

I hope I give you some inspiration and ideas how to enhance bone structure or muscles like Melissa :) If you wish to give this challenge a try I say print on a regular copy paper and use a pencil to pick your shades and enhance slowly. Then take your result and transfer your idea  with your markers to your good paper. That will help you as a guide and make things much smoother for you. Remember
keep it fun and don't give up :)

I hope you like my card and for more inspiration please visit my gal pal teammies for exquisite inspiration over the challenge blog HERE.

Copic recipe down below :)

*********************************
It was my Lauren's bday on Monday 11-11-13 uhhh  just realized she was one day off for the crazy number people were trying to get married on. 11-12-13.
This was just a small cake we bought her since her party is in the works. I LOVE the picture were she's covering her smile LMBO! she has never done that before so I think it was cute. I think she was on cloud 9 because we were all singing to her.

I did her a quick crown so she could take to school since she was giving away cream puffs to the teachers and cupcakes to her class. I wanted her to wear a special bday crown.

The name was cut in different pink tones but the camera kept picking up red.

I should of taken the picture before she left to school but I forgot. When she came back home it was a bit beat up by then lol! Oh well sigh...... lol!

Well thanks for stopping by my corner and appreciate your comments
Sweet kisses
Ruby
