APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS

I just received a package in the mail with a swap I participated in. It is a Magnolia calendar swap in the Magnolia-licious yahoo group. My month is April. It was quite fun to make.

I used 2 different images to create this image. The background actually has a sun shinning behind the clouds, but I thought that I could hide the sun with Tilda. Colored the image with copics. Did some sponging for a bit of a cloud effect in the sky. For the puddle and raindrops I used a clear glaze pen.

A - Z 6X6 PIE RECIPE SWAP CARDS

I was in my first recipe swap during the summer. Baking is not something that comes naturally to me. But my husband enjoys pies, so these recipes will be a good way to try different variations of pies. Here are my contributions to this swap. I picked 3. I thought it would be a great gift for someone special to share with too. Now I have to start baking!!

YIKES!!! CARD CANDY!

The last couple of days I have been working on this:
I was invited to enter a card candy swap. I have never officially made card candy before. So what do you think? Is this acceptable? Would love to hear your comments on this.
