Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso!

I used two new SU colors called Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso. Makes me want dessert just typing the names. Once again I used the new stamp set called Artistic Etchings. The base is Crumb Cake (again making me want dessert!) which was wheeled with Vintage Vogue. I added an outline around the Eiffel tower with a SU Blushing Bride (one of the new In-Colors) marker.

Every year I go with my kids and buy fireworks. Every year when I get home I hem and haw to my DH about how much I spent. Last year I think it was around $50. His response is always the same, "You spent how much????? On something you are just going to set on fire & burn up!!!" This year he went with us. . . He spent $90!!! I'm just sayin'. . . .

Happy Fourth of July!!!!!!

Bermuda Bay Debossing

Don't you just love these colors together? Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay! The main panel was made by embossing a piece of Whisper White with the Big Shot and the Finial Press embossing folder and then brayering Bermuda Bay ink on the debossed side. I then sprayed the panel with some Shimmer Mist (made with rubbing alcohol and Shimmer Paint). The flower is a stamp from the Vintage Vogue stamp set. I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed it with Iridescent Ice. The center of the flower is a Pop-Up glue dot covered with SU Champagne glitter. Off to Kohl's for some last minute shopping for my DD and prom!
