CAS Valentine

Just a CAS (clean and simple) Valentine this time. I used the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit Die to make the smaller hearts. The large heart was punched out of a piece of Whisper White that was embossed with Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.
The score lines were made with my new Simply Scored™ score board from Stampin' Up!™

Did you ever try to type on the computer with a cat on your lap??? One of my DD cats thinks she has to sit on someone's lap and since I am the only one available tonight she has made herself comfortable between me and my laptop. Sheesh.....

A Couple of Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day! Did you get anything for Valentine's Day?  I got flowers and chocolate-lots of chocolate from my DH!
I made 35 of these Valentines for my 5th & 6th grade Sunday school class to give to the home bound members of our church. The one on the left I made by sponging using a doily made with the new Paper Doily Sizzlets die from Stampin' Up! as a mask. The colors are actually retired colors Barely Banana and Ruby Red.
The card on the right was made with some pre-embossed paper from my stash and  a couple of punched hearts. This one was for the men so I tried not to make it too fussy. Inside I stamped the Bible verse John 3:16.

Clean and Sinple Valentine

How about a CAS or clean and simple card? This is a cute little single stamp in the Stampin' Up!™ Occasions Mini called Candy Conversations. I cut my stamp apart and mounted the hearts on one side of the wood and the sentiment on the other. Makes it easier to stamp just the hearts or sentiment.
I stamped the hearts with Marina Mist and Pretty in Pink and punched out a pink one with the Small Heart Punch and attached it with a Dimensional™. The score lines were made with the Simply Scored™ score board.

I love making valentines!  Pink, red, glitter and hearts!!

A Fancy Valentine!

Since yesterday's Valentine was a simple Valentine I decided today to post a fancy schmancy one. I was inspired by this card HERE. I added some Basic Black because I love red and black together. The center heart and the scalloped border is punched out of the beautiful Glimmer paper from the Occasions Mini. Yummy glitter without the mess! The background was embossed with the Elegant Lines embossing folder, the other hearts were die cut with the Scallop Heart of Hearts embosslit. Not sure why the second photo looks so pink; the card stock and Satin ribbon is Real Red. I tried to edit the color but oh well photography is not my call to fame!

A Simple Valentine!

Just a simple Valentine for you today! I actually copied a card from the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog except I used the new yummy Glimmer paper! Glitter without the mess and our punches work great with this paper! The stamp set is called Sweetheart. The card base is Crumb Cake, the panel at the bottom is textured Baja Breeze, the leaves are Wild Wasabi ink on Wild Wasabi card stock and the bird is Daffodil Delight on Crumb Cake paper. The sentiment is a rub-on.

Yeah me! All the wedding favor boxes are decorated-just need to fill with candy, make 40 milk cartons & decorate, and make some paper flowers for the table!

Another Valentine Cutie!

Thank heavens for creative people who share! I can't seem to create anything original lately, just copy. The inspiration for this card came is HERE, on Vicki's blog, It's A Stamp Thing.
I kept the colors the same, Concord Crush and Blushing Bride but switched them around a little mostly because I only have Blushing Bride ribbon. The brad is a retired Stampin' Up! brad from the clearance rack. I pulled out my Coluzzle to cut the circles. To color the image I used blender pens and Stampin' Write markers. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! set; the little girl is from Greeting Card Kids.

(Only 3 weeks until my son's wedding-hard to believe!) Anyone want to come help me make favor boxes????????

Valentine CASE

Look! I finally made something; even if it was a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) of Vicki's card HERE. The main image is from the Stampin' Up! stamp set called Greeting Card Kids. I colored her with Stampin' Write markers.
The main panel is vellum embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! hostess set.
Colors are Marina Mist and Pink Pirouette. Hard to believe but Valentines Day is just a little over a month away!
