A Pink Little Bunny

I thought I would take a break from making Fall and Christmas cards and make one with my favorite color! The card base was cut with the Sizzix Curly Label Movers & Shapers die and the inside is the Top Note die. I used Pixie Pink textured card stock and Pixie Pink ink. The bunny is from the cute little set called Forest Friends. The sentiment is from an old retired set. The ribbon is from one of the retired Ribbon Originals and is actually the first time I have used it. I think now I really need some more of those other windows that fit in the Movers & Shapers die.

Stampin Addicts Color Challenge

I have not taken photos of my newest creations so I am showing a card I made a few weeks ago. This was a color challenge (Tangerine Tango, Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip) on Stampin' Addicts several weeks ago and although not my usual colors I do like it. Summer Sun is my favorite yellow! Yo Yo Yellow is just a little too intense. The butterfly was cut with the Big Shot from a piece of Texturzed card stock. The stamp set is from the Occasions mini. I almost didn't buy this stamp set and I only bought it because of the butterfly. Sometimes I just get so excited about a stamp set and can hardly wait to get it and then use it once and that's it. Other times I buy a stamp set hesitantly and like it better and better the more I use it. This was one of those sets. The more I use this set the more I like it. I sure hope it is in the new catalog!

This card measures 3" x 6" and the base is textured Chocolate Chip card stock. The brad is a flower brad with a rhinestone in the middle.

I am impatiently waiting for the sneak preview of the new catalog. Demonstrators get to see it in the next couple of days. I especially want to see the new In Colors! I am stalking the Stampin' Up! web site hoping it gets posted early!

We finally had a couple of warm days here in Kansas City. My garden was looking a little stunted! I was so proud of myself this year for planting in May rather than June, however, the weather has been rather cool here and I don't think my plants have grown at all. Oh well, it will get warm and they will grow eventually!!
