A Little Bird in Blue

This card needs something but I am not sure what. Ribbon? More layers? I used several punches and of course the ever popular Top Note Die. The sentiment is from the Four Frames stamp set and punched with the Decorative Label punch. For the buttons I punched a couple of circles of Baja Breeze and adhered them to the back of  clear buttons using Crystal Effects™ glue.

I just want to say that I miss making Valentines...sigh!

Cute Little Paper Purse!

I am a sucker for cute and this is just too stinkin' cute! There is a great YouTube tutorial by Frenchie HERE that shows you step by step how to make this adorable treat holder.

It only takes one 6"x6" piece of double sided Designer Series Paper and a little extra for embellishment. Frenchie suggests putting a little tube of lip balm in it but I think chocolate would fit also. The paper and the stamp are from the new Stampin' Up!™ catalog.

This is an exciting time if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. The new catalog comes out July 1 and we get a chance to order a few sneak peaks on June 1. The cool part is the new catalog comes in your first demonstrator order. Not being a very patient person I paid a little more to have my order Next Day Air just so I could peruse the new catalog. And guess what-it really does come the next day and they have to deliver it before 11AM! The new catalog is lovely and the new In-Colors are yummy! Sorry I can't show you the catalog but when I get some projects made I can show those so stay tuned. Now off to play with my new toys!

Put down the Paisley Petals paper!

Here are the last two cards I made with the new yummy Paisley Petals paper and Four Frames stamp set. I do have some other new sets and paper but you know I would have to get out of my chair, go clear across the basement and get them LOL!
The card base of the first card is Not Quite Navy with a layer of Marina Mist that was embossed with the Framed Tulips embossing folder. I used some Crumb Cake seam binding to make a bow (I really will be sad if this ribbon is not in the new catalog!).

The second card uses Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake card stock and of course another piece of Paisley Petal paper. A little paper piercing in the corner and a flower made with the Scallop Circle punch and Boho Blossoms punch and "ta da!".

I just received a most gorgeous gift from one of my Stampin' Up!™ sidelines and wait til you see-it is fabulosa! I just need to take a couple of photos. You will be sooooo jealous!!!

More Paisley Petals!

Look at all the cards I can make with one sheet of DSP! These cards are so different and yet I used the same piece of paper!
I love the new Four Frames stamp set. I colored them with Stampin' Write™markers to get the different colors.

I certainly hope the Seam Binding Ribbon is in the new catalog. It is so soft and easy to work with. I am not very good at "ruffling" it yet but maybe with a few more tries...

Lots of yummy colors in this pack of paper: Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Old Olive, River Rock, Cherry Cobbler, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy and Soft Suede are the "official" colors. However, Always Artichoke, Early Expresso look pretty good with one of the prints. I still have two more cards to share (still with the same sheet of paper!).

New Paper & Stamps!

Boy do I love this new Designer Series Paper called Paisley Petals! This paper is so gorgeous it stands alone with little embellishment. The stamps are from the Four Frames Stamp Set. The paper and stamp set are new products from the upcoming Stampin' Up! 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog. You can order these with any $20 purchase or even better earn them both for FREE! with a $350 workshop. The four frames stamp set coordinates with the Decorative Label Punch-sooooo much easier to punch than to cut! The ribbon is Old Olive Satin with a silver Glimmer Brad in the middle. I got a whole box of new rubbah & paper & punches. . .now just to find the time to play with them!
