 How I  Watercolor DigiStamps

I am by no means an artist ….  Just a Grown-Up kid who loves to color.

Supplies:       Digital Image … Watercolor Pencils … Prismacolor blender Pencil … Aqua Brush

1.  Print Digital Stamp.  (I just use regular white cardstock)

2.  Using the Colorless Blender Pencil trace over the lines of the digi.  This will keep the ink from bleeding.  Or you can spray the image with a sealer.

3.  I color using 2 different methods.  Using the Aqua Painter I take color from the tip of the pencil and lay the color down on the image.

The 2nd is to color around the edge of the images and with the Aqua Painter draw the color down through the image.

4.  That's all there is to it.  Here is the completed  image.

I hope this was a help to some of you.  I love to color and keep things as simple as possible.

Mother's Day with Lindsay's Stamp Stuff

All of us at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff are posting on Thursday's now.  Our theme for this week is Mother's Day.  I had something else in mind and ran across this tutorial and ended up with this:

I used Lindsay's Doodle Flowers Digital Stamp Set and the Watercolor paper from the Doodle Flowers add-on freebie.  I love the paper.  I used around the outside of the jewelry box and then printed the flowers on it and cut them out.

I think this is the very first time I have done anything with digi's that didn't include coloring..lol

Here are the sets I used:

You can find them at Mygrafico along with all of her other awesome stamp sets.
Stop by the rest of the design team blogs and see what kinds of Mother's Day projects they have come up with.  They are all talented gals.

D2D "Garden Fairy"

Well I made it again with 56 minutes to spare....lol.  Faith always gives us the most wonderful images and this one is no exception.

This is for the Designed 2 Delight:  Delightful Inspiration Challenge.  If you have never been there you need to go.  It is a progressive challenge each month.  When you use her image at the beginning of the month you get the next one.  Faith has the most adorable images.  You can check out her Digi Stamp Store HERE.

Now onto the card details.  I ran across a tutorial today at Whiff Of Joy for a 3D Easel Card and thought this little Garden Fairy was perfect.  Other that the card stock and Stickles all of the elements are from Daisy Doodles Card Kits.  I printed the papers, fence, flowers and ribbon.  I am really having fun with digital papers and elements.  Until next time.....
