D2D - "Kaela"

The image at Delightful Inspiration - Designed 2 Delight Challenge this week is "Kaela- Dressed as an Angel"

I don't usually do shiny cards but I went nuts with shiny on this one.  The background is gold glitter and I used gold and silver stickles and gold and silver leafing pens on the edges.  The ribbon is shiny, too.  You can tell so much here but in real life it's 1000 times prettier.  Go over to Delightful Inspiration and see the rest of the cards.  Some beautiful work!!!   Thanks Faith!!!!

D2D - "Harvest Basket"

I went on vacation and missed the last 2 challenges over at Designed 2 Delight and couldn't wait for this one.  And what a beautiful image.  It was certainly worth waiting for.

This was probably the quickest and easiest card I have ever done.  After coloring with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS I used my new Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and cut out the center with a Nesties Oval (took a nail file to it) and glued them together.  I decided I liked it as is so didn't add any embellishments.  I hope you like it.  You still have one more day to go to Designed 2 Delight and get the image to play along.  I also am entering this into the Double Delight Challenge.

D2D - Peace and Comfort

This week Faith ...  for the progressive challenge at Designed2Delight Delightful Inspiration ... sent us a gorgeous set.  "Peace and Comfort".  Here is what I did.....

The paper was kinda bright so I distressed with Linen Distress Ink to dull it down.  I colored the images with Crayola Crayons.  The rest is self explanatory.  The challenge this time at Double Delight was to sponge or distress so I am entering this over there too.  Thanks Faith for such a Beautiful Set!!!!

I had planned on using the sketch at Double Delight but I forgot until after..LOL  Oh well!  I colored it with Prismas and OMS and used Scribbles for the flower centers.  I stitched it all together on my sewing machine and added crocheted flowers and leaf with a button.  Check out D2D ... D2D - "Oak Wreath"

This week we had another Fall Image from Faith over at Designed2Delight Delightful Inspiration.  This one is called "Oak Wreath"

Forgive the photo...my camera batteries are dead and I haven't gone out to get more so I had to scan it.  Also after I scanned it I realized that I didn't have another piece of  DP that I had cut to use on this.  It had the golds in it and was suppose to go behind the brown.  Oh well...LOL  Go over and check out Delightful Inspiration and get in on the fun.  This card also qualifies for The Double Delight Challenge.

D2D - "Cat's Meow"

The image this week from Faith at Designed 2 Delight is called "Cat's Meow".  And the challenge at "Double Delight" is Summer Colors.

I colored him with Prismacolor Pencils and meant for him to be a little darker but it's OK..LOL.  Everything but the flowers cam from my stash.  I used CS...DP...Stickles...Scribbles... Paper Glaze and a buckle punch.  The flower I crocheted using DMC Embroidery Floss.

Go over to Delightful Inspiration and get in on the challenge.  It is a progressive challenge and starts over at the beginning of the month so now is a good time.

D2D - "Dragonfly Collage"

I told myself I was going to be early tonight and here it is 3:30 a.m. again..lol   Oh well!  Designed2Delight - Delightful Inspiration has an awesome image this week.  "Dragonfly Collage".  I didn't get my card in last week and when I went to see what this week's image was I had to have it.  So I purchased it immediately and knew just what I wanted to do.

I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS and then painted on Crackle Accents.  After it was dry I cut it out and matted it with Lavendar cardstock.  Added a ribbon and a dragonfly charm and done.  I found the DP in my stash.

Here is a close-up so that you can better see the crackle.

My post is short and sweet coz I am going to bed.  I'll feel it tomorrow at work...lol.
I am entering this card in the Craft Your Passion Challenge.
