Nu var det länge sedan jag gjorde ett tag-trio album. Men när de nya 6"x6" papperspaketen från Reprint kom så kände jag hur det kliade i fingrarna och jag bestämde mig för att leka loss lite, vilket för mig oftast resulterar i just tag trio album ...
It's been a while since I made a trio tag album. But when the new 6"x6" paperpads from Reprint arrived, I decided to play around a little with them - and for me, playing around with papers usually means creating tag trio albums ...
Jag har använt den smått beroendeframkallande produkten Pasta Luce för lite bling här och där. Pasta Luce är guldflagor i en pasta som torkar genomskinligt. Man duttar på lite här och där och får en härligt glamourös effekt.
I used the wonderful product Pasta Luce to get some golden flair in various places throughout the album. Pasta Luce is simply gold flakes embedded in a paste that dries clear. Just spread around unevenly to get that glamorous golden effect.
Textstämpeln är egentligen en "hel" stämpel som jag klippt isär i remsor och placerat ut på tagsen.
The sentiment is really just one stamp, but I cut the text in strips and placed them in different places on the tags.
Har du också platta blommor kvar i förrådet? På dessa tag-trio album får de ett nytt liv, de passar jättebra att inkludera i designen, inbäddade med decoupagelim eller gel medium.
Do you also have some of those flat flowers still in your stash? The tag trio albums are perfect to include them as decorations, embedded using decoupage clue or gel medium.
Jag har grundat alla tags med lite vit akrylfärg (inte överallt, mest för att få en ljusare bakgrund där jag tänkt sätta transfermotiv) och även några penseldrag av den guldpärlemorskimrande akrylfärgen ur Reprints nya mixed media sortiment. Transfertekniken fungerar bäst med gel medium, men jag gissar att även decoupagelim fungerar.
I started by randomly applying some white acrylic paint on the tags (not covering them completely, mainly focussing on the areas where I knew I wanted to add some transfer images) and then also some brushstrokes of the new golden pearlescent acrylic paint that is part of the new mixed media collection from Reprint. Transfer techniques usually work best with gel medium, but my guess is that decoupage glue would also work just fine.
