PTT#18 Party Time Tuesdays w/ Kenny K

Happy Party Time Tuesdays everyone!!
This is my second post today so please be sure to scroll
down for my Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge post to see
a wonderful Father's Day set.

Our month long sponsor has been Kenny K and I've had so much fun
using their images!  This one was a little outside my comfort zone but that's why I
picked it.  I had a choice of some of the "cute" images that I'm more used to creating
with but since this is a CHALLENGE blog I decided to use the more 'risque' image
and see if I could pull it off.  I'm pretty happy with the results!

I think this card would be great for a guy's birthday or your special someone on your anniversary...
Happy "birthday or anniversary" Hot Stuff!!  You know...something like that!  The image
is called 'Jessie Jane'  and you can find her in the Kenny K store.

If you act fast there's one more day to get the Pop Star freebie from Kenny K.
It's available on the home page.

Be sure to check out the Party Time Tuesdays Challenge blog to enter your
own "Anything Goes" card this week and to see what the rest of the DT has created.

Thanks Coach!

My sister requested 2 gifts for Braedyn's soccer coach and her son. I haven't done a mailbox recently so I thought I'd do some of them. I used stamps from TCP Studio's Soccer set and the rest were Gina K stamps from various sets by melanie muenchinger. My niece's team colors are red and gray so I went with those for my color choices. I made little notecards and envelopes that she can slip inside with the candy or whatever she chooses to put in the mailboxes.

Last day of school

Well... summer break has officially begun, for me anyways. The kids don't get home for another hour. This is what I made for Dominick and Makena's teachers. The mailboxes are from Target and the favor bags are from A.C. Moore. They are black with sparkles all over them... very pretty. I filled them with Hershey Kisses and put them in the mailboxes with a movie theater gift card. The stamps that I decorated the outside of the mailboxes with are from Inkadinkado. I also had a few movie stickers that I've had laying around. I made the envelopes that the cards are in. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow!

Birthday Party & an Art Show

Last weekend Makena had two pieces of artwork chosen to be displayed at a local history museum. She beat me. I was in high school before I had anything shown outside of my school and she's only 7. They held a reception for all the students chosen and she had her picture taken by a small local newspaper. As soon as I can get my hands on one I'll try to post that too. She was very proud! The green mask above her head in the one photo is hers and the other one is called "sock puppets". She loves her art just like her Mom!!

Makena has a birthday party to go to this weekend. Her dance partner is turning 9 and is having a bowling party. Her mom said she wants gift cards so she can pick out her own gift so I thought what better way to give it to her than to "mail" it?? When I first saw these cute little mail boxes at Target I thought they were cute but didn't give them a second glance. Then I saw what Emily Giovanni ( http://emilygiovanni.com/?p=1520 ) did with them and raced back to pick up a bunch! I hope the link works...I'm still new at this stuff! I decorated the mailbox and then covered over a plain white mini envelope with coordinating paper. The gift card is inside the envelope. I plan to put some candy or something inside with it. Since she is Makena's dance partner I decided to go with that theme for her card. I used the sizzix dress ups dies for the ballerina and the sizzix Fun Serif caps & lowercase to spell out her name. There are stickles and pink glitter on her tutu and hair ribbon.
