Doggies Need to Stay Hydrated Too!

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I have some dog themed shaker cards for you.

These did not set out to be shakers.
I had cut the dog out with my circle dies and had
intended to leave it just like that with a matte around it.
I still had my snow globe domes out from last week though
and noticed that they would fit perfectly around this little guy.

After stamping and coloring the image I used Diamond Stickles to drip water

out of the tumbler onto the floor.  You can just ignore the little dog hair 

that attached itself to my dome...lol! 

(We'll just say it's there for authenticity)

I have always cut a circle frame to put around the dome when I've 

used it in the past but I didn't this time because I wanted to be able to 

see the entire tumbler. I used the paw print die to cut a stencil out for the

tumbler. Once I had the die cut OUT, I used a black marker to stencil the 

paw onto the tumbler.

I love finishing the insides of my cards as well.

I have so many friends that are dog lovers that will enjoy

this card. I hope you do too!

There's no bunny like you!

 Hello Ai fans!

My card was made as the feature for the Easter Wishes challenge on the Art Impressions blog.

I used  5716 – Little Boy Front & Back.

I accessorized my card with lots of little add on stamps.  The bird, basket of eggs and tulips are from 5488 – Front Porch Easter Set.  With this type of card,  you pull the tab and it reveals a hidden panel inside.

The sentiments on the front and inside are from 5733 – Easter Sentiments Set.
They're stamped on 5727 – Nested Oval Dies and 5725 – Nested Square Dies

The little butterfly is from the beyond adorable new 5728 – Mushroom Cubbies set.
Last is the bunnies...oh those bunnies!  These are just the CUTEST!!

I used two of them from the new 5737 – Bunny & Chicks Set.

New Mushroom Cubbies and Chicken Matchbooks from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a couple of the new releases from Art Impressions.

For my first card I used the brand new,  absolutely adorable, 5728 – Mushroom Cubbies.

I made a Bay Window Card that I added an oval to on the front.

For the ovals I used the new 5727 – Nested Oval Dies

I added some Stickles in the windows to make them appear to be reflective and a little on

the dots on the mushrooms for the simple reason that I love sparkle.

I also decorated the inside of the card with more of the images and a verse from the set.

The sweet little gnome is popped up on foam dots so that he can hold the front panel

where it belongs. 

In this photo you can see how it pops out and the fun dimension it has.

My next card is a Matchbook.

I used the new 5731 – Chicken MB.

I love that Bonnie has started to create some outdoor scenes for the Matchbook series.
All of the Matchbooks are built on the 5317 – MB Template Dies.

I made a cute little envelope to put my card in.

5318 – MB Envelope Dies.

These are all tiny little treasures.

Mailbox Full of Love from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I have some fun news!

I had a card published in Creative Scrapbooker Magazine
Spring 2023 issue!

You can see it in the current issue in craft stores right now.
My card was for the fussy cutting/cards for mom categories.

Though this set comes with dies, the mailbox does not have a die to cut it out.
The die only cuts the mailbox open so I fussy cut that.

For my card I used several sets.

The image is from 4848 – Sweet Wishes MTF. 

 The mailbox is interactive, opening and closing,
 to reveal a little bird and some happy mail.



I cut some squares and rectangles to mount my image on using

5063 – Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies

and

5061 – Square Double Stitched Dies

The little heart is from 5317 – MB Template Dies.

It's never too early to start thinking about making your mom, mother-in-law, daughter/daughter-in-law who's a mom,  or special mother-like figure in your life, a card for Mother's Day.

New! Front Porch Halloween set from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

Who loves Halloween??

I do! I do!

 I was so excited when I saw the new 5487 – Front Porch Halloween Set which is part of the Front Porch Series.

I went a little dark and spooky with this one.  My kids both LOVE Halloween and being "scared."  Well,  kids...they're 22 and 23 but they're very much kids at heart when it comes to having a good scare at Halloween.

The awesome thing about this set is that you can go a little creepy or you can keep it totally cute for those that don't love that.

This set comes with coordinating dies which is great!  For my trees, I stamped and colored one of them and then cut it out.  For the rest, I just used the die to cut different shades of black and gray trees.

The little sign with BOO on it is from the Spooky Wagon set from the Ai Rides Series.

The fun scene inside the door is from the MB Halloween set.

Do you see my bats? They were cut out with the dies from the set.  I then used a piece of acetate and a brad to make them "FLY" through the air.  I love an interactive card!
