Stomping out the big "C"

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a card that my sister requested.  She knows some people battling cancer and asked me to make some cards for her to send to them.  She had requested, if possible, one with a woman "stomping out cancer."  I didn't have any stamps that would work with that but I thought this woman looked a little like she was throwing a punch.

I cut the C with a die and then used scissors to cut it apart.  I wanted it to look like she was shattering the big C.  I can't remember who made this digi but I've had since I was on the Party Time Tuesdays DT ages ago.

Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Hello Ai fans!
Today I'm sharing a get well card
made with the AiCS38 –Doggy Kisses Set.

I work in an elementary school so it seems like there's always someone sick.  Cards like this one are always good to have on hand.  I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it because I love dogs so much.

It's rough being sick but a fun card like this
will hopefully brighten someone's day!

I Brake for Dr. Ben!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a get well card.  We've had a rash of surgeries where I work and I needed some get well cards.  I whipped out Dr. Ben Dover from the Humorous Seniors line at I Brake for Stamps.

Don't forget you can always save 10% off your order when you use my coupon code
SAVE10RENEE.
It never expires and can be used over and over again.

The Get Well verse is from the Every Day Phrases set.
I've been trying to use some of my older supplies.  I have so much stuff just sitting there not getting used and it's such a waste.  This time I used one of my Fastenator staples.  Do any of you remember those?  I have a HUGE bin of the staples.  They were and still are so cute and hopefully I'll put them to use now.

At least you don't need a cone!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing my mom's get well card.
She recently had surgery and I wanted to lighten the mood a bit. I think she enjoyed her card a lot.

For the sentiment I used 5134 – Banner Double Stitched Dies.

On the inside I used another sentiment and a few
of the smaller stamps from the set.

I made an alternate version to have on hand just in case.

I Brake for Flowers!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a "pick me up" card for someone who is ill.

I used one of the flowers from
It's a plate full of stained glass windows with flowers and insects.

I have an embossing folder that matches this image REALLY well so I dug that out and embossed my front panel.  It's difficult to see in the photo but the glass panels are colored in a warm gray.

On the inside I used one of the verses from

Be Brave

Hello and happy Saturday!
Today I'm sharing a card that I made for my cousin.
She's having some medical problems and I wanted
her to know that we're thinking of her and behind her
all the way!

I used this stunning bird duo from I Brake for Stamps.
There are 9 total stamps in the set.

On the inside I used an appropriate phrase from the same pad of paper that the designer paper came from. This is what she needs to hear right now.

I distressed some of the edges of the paper to give it a more shabby chic look.

Don't forget ...  you can always
when you use my coupon code

It never expires and can be used over and over again!

Doggie Kisses to help you feel better!

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for a student in my school.  Her oldest brother was driving himself, the middle brother and her to school and had an accident.  She was pretty banged up but was okay.  She kept the card on her desk for 2 days before taking it home.

This is an alternate version I made to keep on hand just in case...

This was the inside of both cards.
This set is so much fun because it has all the little extra stamps to accent your card with.
