Yellow lilacs for a birthday

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a different kind of window card.
This time I used acetate to make a mostly clear front.

The text is from EVERY DAY PHRASES and the flower is called LARGE LILAC.

My friend needed a birthday card for her sister-in-law and her only request was that it be pretty.  She was very pleased.

And yes...I realize that lilacs aren't yellow.  Let's just say I used "artistic license" on this one!

Happy Birthday Barb (my first clear card)

My mother-in-law's birthday is in 3 weeks and I wanted to get a head start on her card.  She hasn't been feeling well but is recently on the mend so I wanted something really fun & bright.  I recently put all of my Spellbinders dies into CD cases held in by self-adhesive magnets.  I hated to just throw away all of that plastic so...here I go on my environmental high-horse... I decided to cut them apart and reuse them.  Each one will make 2 cards that measure 4" square.  I'm really happy with the result.  It's smaller than I'm used to working with but it looks really cute and I'll probably make more.

Isn't she fun?
This is Agnes from Art Impressions.
I've added Prima paper flowers that I embellished with pearls and stickles.

Inside I've used an AI phrase

I've entered my card in the following challenges...

Card makings:
Image & sentiment: Art Impressions
Circle & Lacey Circle dies: Spellbinders
Blue, white & pink paint pen
Stardust Stickles
Prima flowers
Pearls
Satin ribbon
Copic markers
flower punch
