Earrings galore!

Happy Saturday everyone!

Sharing some more earrings today.
Some go all the way back to Christmas.

I love animal prints!

My friend's son is an avid competitive bowler, so she spends
many weekends at tournaments.

Did I mention that I LOVE animal prints? lol!

Since I work in an elementary school I wear a lot of Christmas earrings.
These were made from a very old Quikutz die set.

Heard you were flat on your back...

Hello Ai fans!
Today I'm sharing a get well card with you.  My brother-in-law recently hurt his back so I sent him this card to cheer him up.

L1603 – Turtle

E1678 – Flat on Back

Inside I used a verse from the new Michael's clear set called GET Well SC0681.  I thought this verse worked great with the turtle.

Copics used:
BG01, B0000B41, YG03, YG25, YG63, YG67, YG91, T1, T3, N2, W3, E25, E84

I Brake for Tara's Birthday!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my 11 year old niece's birthday card.
This sweet as pie cow is called TINA MAE and she's from I Brake For Stamps!

I hand drew the hat to make her a little more birthday-ish.
She's colored with Copic and Marvy markers.

Just a little FYI...I've also put a Santa hat on Tina Mae last year.  She's a cow for all seasons!

Happy Birthday Wild Thing!!

Happy Birthday Wild Thing!!

This adorable Chihuahua is about as wild as they get!
Don't you agree?

He's from Art Impressions AI Dogs line.
I paired him with the Wild Thing verse.

I think I may send this one to my sister-in-law in Florida.
This is just perfect for her.

I used a Sizzix embossing folder, ribbon from Hobby Lobby,
pearls from Pizazz Aplenty, a flourish from My Favorite Things
and all of the mattes and circles were made from Spellbinders
dies.  The ovals were an EK Success punch and a SB die.

For my card I've used an absolutely adorable image from Paper Pretties.  Isn't this giraffe awesome!!  I paired him with the Cuttlebug embossing folder that I think is probably actually Cheetah spots but I think it works. I also had some cute giraffe paper in my stash.

I'm thinking of turning this into a birthday card but until I know for sure I'm going to leave it blank.

Card makings:
Paper Pretties:  Giraffe
Cuttlebug: embossing folder
Sizzix: Jungle leaves
embroidery floss
Copic markers
brads
EK Success border

Cranky Maude

What can you say about Maude...she's a bit of a grouch sometimes.  I like to assume it's only in the morning before she's had her first cup of coffee.  I love this stamp from Art Impressions.  I really wanted to "wild" her up this time so she's dressed in animal print.  I also used an AI sentiment that says I'm not deaf... I'm ignoring you.

Card makings:
Image & sentiment: Art Impressions
Copic markers
Sizzix embossing folder
Martha Stewart border punch
buttons
puff paint

Zoo coffee gift set

It's that time of year again where I make my sister something to take as a gift to the anual zoo party that she goes to. This year I did Starbucks Mocha drinks decorated in animal print papers & stamps.  I have had the misc. animal paper for quite some time and it was fun to pull them out and use them.  Most of the stamps are clear so I'm not sure who makes them.  The giraffe in the eggshell  is from I Brake For Stamps.  The Thank You stamp is from Rubber Soul.  Everything is colored with Copic markers and all the circles were cut with Spellbinders dies.  The star is cut from a stencil and I embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder.  I thought using some random brown fibers that I had would mimic the look of animal fur and the tag is tied on with some Michael's $1 organdy animal print ribbon.  It's tough to see in the photo but the corners of the box are layered with black paper that I embossed with a sizzix leopard print embossing folder.  The phrase was printed off my computer.  I had so much fun making this!  I hope it's well recieved.
