Watercolor Puppy and Bench! New from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

Who doesn't love a new release from Art Impressions!?

I sure know I do!

Today I'm sharing the cutest new releases from the watercolor series!

I've used 4959 WC Dogs Set

I also used two previous releases...

I just love dogs so much so I'm in love with this new set!!
I have to be honest...watercoloring doesn't come natural to me.  I made two versions of this both of which I tossed out. (well, recycled)  I went to bed angry. I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and this scene just sprang to life and I'm very happy with it.  With some trial and error I always feel like I've created something to be proud of.  Just don't give up if you don't love what you create at first!!

Here's the inside of my card.

Marvy Markers:

 6, 11, 12, 15, 18, 24, 27, 40, 45, 55, 57, 78,

Clay Pot water color from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!
Today I'm sharing a water color with you.
I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to water coloring in but I must say, they come together pretty quickly.  I think maybe since there isn't the need to be precise and stay in the lines that the coloring goes faster. It's more free.

The verse comes in this set...Garden TF (Sku#4203)

Somehow I forgot to take a picture of the back with the easel before I sent it off but here's a close up of the pot.

Art Impressions...NEW water color and an easel die!!

Hello Ai fans!

It's another HAPPY day at Art Impressions Rubber Stamps!
Today they're releasing some more of the water color mini sets.
The set I've used today is called Flower Cart (Sku#4703).

There's also a new challenge beginning today in conjunction with the water color release...Use Water-Based Ink.

I also used Happy Birthday Script (Sku#G3130) on my card.  I used one of the markers so that I only inked up the "happy" part, stamped that and then inked up the "birthday" portion and stamped that.  It's far easier to do that with the markers than an ink pad.  I'm hooked!

MARVY PENS USED:
NO. 8, 11, 12, 15, 17, 20, 28, 40, 43, 45, 72, 86, 88
