My Mother and Father-in-Law are coming for Christmas for the first time in many years. It's also the first time they will be seeing our new house. I feel safe posting this early since they are on the road traveling here right now and they don't have a lap top so there's no chance they'll see their card. This is a stamp from Thomas Kinkade. I love the old fashioned looking stamps that Cornish Heritage Farms has made from his paintings. I know these images can be colored (not sure if I'm at that level yet) but they look so good done in monotones that I have only used them in that way so far. I did another one in the black, white and red too for a friend. My in-laws is the one with the snowflake and the one with the cardinal is for a friend. I also made a jar to give to someone who has been helping me sell some of my crafts. The jar is plastic and it came with nuts in it from Target. I love to RECYCLE/REUSE/REDUCE!! Why put something in a generic gift bag when you can create something like this. My last item is a tag that I made from a PSX stamp. Do you think I was in a B&W mood?? With guests coming I'm not sure how much time I'll have to post in the next week but I'll try.

Thomas Kinkade Stonehearth Hutch
The Thomas Kinkade line of stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms is one of my favorites. I love all of the traditional "Old Fashioned" Christmas scenes. This time I stamped on craft cardstock in brown ink and just used some Stickles and one Copic marker to add a touch of sparkle and color. If you look I used the same die as on the anniversary card in my last post. I trimmed the outer part away from the other card and used it as a border on this one. I also used some fabric leaves and flowers to add some dimension. The ribbon is from Michael's dollar bins.

Thomas Kinkade Christmas
This is another TK image. Again, I chose a monochromatic theme if for no other reason than I just didn't have time to color it all in today. I do love these stamps done in one color though. I just used my brayer again with the blue iris chalk ink and mounted it on a blue card. I used two silk flowers and a glitter dot in the center. The windows and the lamp post are colored with a yellow colored pencil and it's pretty amazing how real the light looks. This was a nice, quick & easy card to make.

Thomas Kinkade Birthday
This card was made with the Thomas Kinkade stamp 'It Doesn't Get Much Better' from Cornish Heritage Farms. I love these images because they are so detailed that you can do them in monotones and they still look finished. I used my brayer to apply Blue Iris chalk ink onto a light cream cardstock. Then all I did was mount it on the front of a card that I used a Martha Stewart border punch on. The ribbon is from A.C. Moore. I think this is a great masculine image.
