Valentine's Day is just about a month away.

Have you made cards for all of your sweethearts?



I made these cards for my "kids" using the 4885 – Nuts About You Valentine set.

My children are 21 and 23 but I still love to make cards for them.
The heart I stamped the verse on is from 5359 – Bunny Pop-Ups.

The adorable little envelope is from 5318 – MB Envelope Dies.

Today I'm sharing a fun Valentine's Day card with you.

I've used 4885 – Nuts About You for the squirrel, verse and the acorns.

The adorable envelope is from 5318 – MB Envelope Dies.
The new matchbook series is a ton of fun.  If something that tiny can be a "ton"...lol!

The large heart with the verse stamped in it is from 5359 – Bunny Pop-Ups. 

Art Impressions has the best animal sets.  Some are holiday themed like Easter, Christmas, Halloween and Valentine's Day.  Others are perfect for birthdays or any occasion.

One of the little hearts is from 5317 – MB Template Dies.

The rest of the hearts are from old punches that I've had forever.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I have a sweet card for your sweetie!

I used three sets from Art Impressions on my card.

The letters are from 5072 – Block Letters Die Set,  the verse is stamped on 5133 – Flag Double Stitched Dies and the adorable squirrel and acorns are from 4885 – Nuts About You.

Is anyone else on a gold kick like I am lately?  I just love anything that sparkles but especially gold.  The paper is so expensive in my local craft store though.  So, I improvised.  I found a roll of contact paper on Amazon and the bonus is that it's already self adhesive!  When I cut my letters they're ready to go.  The swirly frame is also cut from wood grained contact paper.

Today we begin week two of the Art Impressions challenge "Resolutions."

My resolution is to spend more time with the people I care about. (and to keep my craft room cleaner but that's a whole 'nother story!)

Even though my husband and both of our kids are all home together with me right now we don't always spend time together.  Both the kids work outside the home.  My husband has been working from home since Covid started.  Even though we're all here with very few places to go we don't necessarily spend enough of our time together.  We eat dinner but then often go our separate ways.  I want more family movies, more game nights etc.  My kids will be out of our house permanently before we know it.  I need to treasure these moments!
