I "heart" Dogs!! (and Art Impressions interactive sets!)

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing two different cards both with a dog theme.

My first card was made with the 5101 – Dog House Cubbies.

I made this card for my friend's birthday.  Her husband secretly

contacted a bunch of her friends and asked us to donate to the 

Humane Society in her name.  She was SO touched when she 

found out.  
The little paw print cut out was made with 5337 – Dogs Mini Dies.

Don't you love how the little dogs poke
their heads out of the windows and doors?



For my second card I used 4850 – Paws To Love MTF.

This card was made for the same friend.  I sent her this one at work just to brighten her day. 

On the inside I used the Dog Mini Dies again as well as the 5333 – Cats Mini Dies because she has a cat and a dog.  I only used two of the three stamps on my card because I didn't do it as a trifold.

Art Impressions Gardening Circlet Tag

Hello Ai fans!

It's the second week of the tags or ornaments challenge over at Art Impressions so I'm sharing what I made using the new 5172 – Gardening Circlet MTF.

I also used the 5064 – Circle Double Stitched Dies and 5132 – Tag Stitched Dies.

These new Circlets are some of my favorites!  You can do so many different things with them.

I think at some point I want to create a sort of shadow box with these.

Today I'm sharing a beautiful new Circlet release from Art Impressions.

This one is called 5091 Easter Circlet.

The Circlets are a subcategory of the Mini TryFolds (MTF)

Stripes and Circles

They were designed to make a card with three panels but I decided to make mine a peek-a-boo sleeve with a tag inside.

I used the 5064 Stitched Circles and 5132 Tag Stitched Dies from Ai.

Here's the sleeve and the tag together.

Art Impressions Tool Shed Mini Tryfold

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing the newest addition to the
Mini Tryfold series at Art Impressions.

This set is called

5027 – Tool Shed MTF

Check out how the shed doors open to give a little sneak preview of what's "stored" inside of it!

I have to be honest...I nearly bailed on this card thinking maybe I'd attack it a few days later and hope for better luck!

First I stamped the image and attached the die with Washi tape.  The tape didn't stick and the die slipped, cutting my door on the side of the shed. Sigh...Oh well...so I re-stamp it again.  Next thing I know there's a "fuzzy" on the top right.  I flicked it only to discover it was a flake of Copic ink that dropped and so it made a green smudge. I decided that I'd try coloring the sky blue and fortunately it worked!  I REALLY didn't want to stamp and cut this a third time!  I didn't let the first mistake go completely to waste though.  I used it to sample some different shades of green.

You're one in a Melon!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a thank you card with you. 

Caution...bragging mom moment! lol!  My daughter won several scholarships at Senior Award night and I need to make a thank you card for each individual/organization that gave her money.

For one of the cards I used 4970 – Produce Stand MTF from Art Impressions.

Although this set is meant to be a Tri-fold card I only made it 2 layers since I needed 7 cards. I couldn't spend TOO much time on one card.  I still think it's quite special and the recipient will appreciate it!  The photo above shows the awning closed.  You then open the "window" to show the sweet little raccoon inside the card.

Then, you open it up and you can see the little guy that you got the sneak preview of.  I made this card for a woman named Melanie ... because she gave my daughter an award for digital art ... and ...she's one in a MELON... get it?? "Melon-ie"??  Cheesy, I know!

NEW! Art Impressions Happy Camper MTF

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a sweet new set from Art Impressions.

This is
4969 – Happy Camper MTF

If you've never seen them before, the mini tryfolds are a series of stamps that are interactive.  You can see through parts of the first two layers into the inside of the card.

My card is for the Ai Challenge, door openings.

You can click the banner to be taken to the blog and see the other designers' cards or to enter the challenge yourself!

Here's the front with the hatch open.
You can see into the cute little napping fox.

When you open the first panel you see the inside of the camper.

Then open one more panel and there he is!

These are so much fun to use.

People get a real kick out of them when I give them out.

New Mini TryFolds from Art Impressions!

New release days are always so much fun at Art Impressions!

Today I'm sharing the new Winter Window MTF 4929.

I've used the set on both my card and the tag on my gift box.

I created my card for the Stamp a Scene challenge.

When you peek in the window on the front of the card this is the sweet scene that you see.

Then open up the front panel to reveal the curtains.

Lastly, you open it all the way up and see the tree and cat.

I also used the set on the tag for the gift box.
