Caroling Polars from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a winter themed card with you.  This week at Art Impressions we were lucky enough to participate in a product swap with Scrapbook Adhesives.  I used three different types of their adhesives on my card which I'll share with you later in the post.

My card features the adorable Caroling Polars (Sku#U4080).
I trimmed off the bear furthest to the right and added him to the outside of the frame.

Now I'll show you how I used the wonderful adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives.

First up I made my glittered letters and snowflakes.

I used the adhesive sheets to make my letters and flakes sticky so that the glitter would stick to them.  I simply added the adhesive sheet to some white cardstock, ran it through my Cuttlebug and then peeled away the protective layer to expose the adhesive.

The photos below shows the letters stuck to my image and ready to be glittered.

Next I added the glitter.  Pretty (and easy) isn't it!

Besides using the adhesive sheets on the snowflakes I also used the 3D foam squares to pop them up and give them dimension.

I used the foam dots on the back of the main panel and the frame as well.

The last adhesive I used was the E-Z Squares.
I used these to adhere the image to the main panel.

The little rocks that you see around their feet are called Tiny Stones (Sku#AA1038)

I used two other Art Impressions stamps on the inside.

Always & Forever wedding card

Hello and happy Wednesday!!

Today I'm sharing a near carbon copy of a card I made just a little while ago.  I had a co-worker request a wedding card with little notice so I went the CASE myself route since I've been swamped lately.  You can see the original card HERE.

This is my new creation.

I just LOVE dies.  I think you can add such a level of elegance to a card with them.  The background is a Martha Stewart punch (which is just as good as a die only  much chunkier to store)

The flower was made with the Spellbinders Rose Creations dies and the mattes are from Sizzix.  The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.

Wedding post ... day 2

Hello and happy Tuesday!

As I said yesterday, my friend requested 2 wedding cards for the month of September.
Her boyfriend's son and daughter (double whammy) are getting married this month.

She wanted something elegant with a little bit of fall thrown in.
This is what I came up with and she was pleased.

Hello and Happy Saturday!
Today I'm sharing a birthday card with you.
On the front of my card I've used XLG Butterfly and Every Day Phrases from I Brake For Stamps.

I stamped the butterfly with white pigment ink and then used embossing powder on it.

Happy Anniversary!

My sister needed an Anniversary card for her sister-in-law.  Since it was their first  anniversary she wanted me to use the colors from the wedding, blue and silver.

The verse on the front is from PSX.

Here's the inside.

The border punch is from Martha Stewart and the flowers were made with Spellbinders dies.
