Happy Bee-Day!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for the current

Keep Calm & Celebrate On challenge.

I recently pulled out the 5823 – Christmas Cars Set and fell

in love with the little Beetle.

What better way to decorate your BEEtle, than, well, with a BEE!

The bees, leafy vine in the lower left hand corner

 and the sentiment are from 5925 – Honey Bee Set.

I spelled BEETLE out with 5562 – Journal Letter Die Set.

I'll be honest guys. I lose things. My biggest fear when I 

ordered this set was losing a letter and having an incomplete

alphabet. My solution? Order two more sets! lol!

Yes, I have 3 sets and I store them on a magnetic sheet in

alphabetical and numerical order. Die cutting words goes SO

much faster now and if I do end up losing one, I'll still be 

able to make all the words.

This card is a little busy for my normal style...busy as a bee...

ha ha...get it? I'll show myself out...lol.

Seriously though, I don't normally make cards quite this busy

but I do really like it. It's my favorite colors, green and yellow

and it has bees, so how can you go wrong?

So, it turns out I'm not always great about posting my

cards in a timely manner.

Earlier today I shared Diane's 40th birthday card.

Now, here is her 41st...oops! lol!

I used the Spellbinders Floral Oval Die.

The butterflies were made with some old punches I have.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is Happy Birthday Brush Script sssd112116.

Today I'm sharing a 40th birthday card that I made

for Diane. She is the sister-in-law of my friend and 

is one of my biggest customers.

I used Spellbinders Filigree Numbers and 

Spellbinders BIRTHDAY WISHES VIGNETTE Etched Dies S5-455*

The flowers and leaves were made with

Spellbinders S5-050 Mega Dies, Rose Creations.

The frame for the sentiment is from Art Impressions.

Floral Happy Birthday cards

Happy Monday everyone!

Today I'm sharing two birthday cards.

I had been eyeing this pretty embossing folder for a while

and I'm so glad I got it.

I love having birthday cards on hand for when you forget

or just don't have time to make something new.

Both my cards are the same except that I made one in green (my favorite)

and one in pink.

Almost every year my friend requests a birthday card

for her nephew. This year he is really into space, Godzilla and soccer.

I don't have anything space or Godzilla themed but I thought this retired

dino from Art Impressions would be close enough.

Bee shaker card

Hello everyone!

Today I have a beautiful bee themed shaker card that my
friend requested for her daughter's birthday.

She and her daughter love bees as much as I do so this one was SUPER fun to make.

Her daughter's name is Jessica so I added the J to personalize it a bit.

More bee dies and some embossing folders decorated the inside.

I'd like to be...under the sea

Hello Ai fans!
This is a card that I've been so excited to share.  My son loves The Beatles and this was his birthday card.  I used several Art Impressions sets to make this.



My color inspiration came from this artwork that I found online.

I printed all 4 of the Beatle faces to put inside the sub.
The sub is from the newer 5397 – Submarine Cubbies set.

The bottom half of my card was modeled after the artwork from Ringo's book.



I just love ocean themed cards and this one was extra special because I customized it for my son.

The octopus was a freebie.  You can earn a freebie every time you order $30 of more from Art Impressions.

His crown comes from the 5390 – Mini Accents 2.
The ocean floor has several Mini Die sets on it.

I used the 5325 – Sail Mini Dies for the anchor, 

the 5332 – Health Mini Dies for the sea urchin (I cut the ends of the germ to make it) and I used the 5329 – Beach Mini Dies for some of the seashells.

I decorated the inside of the card with one of the Cubbie sentiments and more of the fish.

My son loved this!

My niece is learning to cook so I thought this would be an image she'd like.
