Happy 50th Birthday!

Hello and Happy Saturday!

I'm a little behind in my posting.
Well, a lot.

This card was made for my friend's surprise 50th birthday party.

The dies are all from Spellbinders except the Happy Birthday on the inside.

The Happy Birthday die set is from Hello Bluebird.

Happy Birthday Maryann!

Happy Birthday Maryann!

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Here's a 50th birthday card that I made for my friend Maryann.

All of the dies on the front are from Spellbinders. I'm not sure who made the Happy Birthday die inside.
We had a big surprise party for her and she was truly surprised.  It was such a fun night!

Happy 5th Birthday Tony!

Hello and Happy Monday!

Today I'm sharing a card a friend ordered for her nephew's 5th birthday.

He really loves dinosaurs and I do too so I was really excited to make this.

I've made other cards for Tony but this time he's 5 so that's really special!

My dinosaur is from Carmen Medlin designs from the Curiosities Set 3 and is called Me and My Lil Buddy Set.  I used watercolor brushes to color them and made highlights with a white gel pen.

Happy Bee Day!

Hello and happy Monday everyone!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card that I made for a friend.
Since I was in High School,  so a very long time ago, I have LOVED bees!
Over the years I've amassed quite a nice collection of stamps, dies and embossing folders.
I've only just recently began to really use them though.

I decided to make a bridge card.  The die is from Crafter's Companion from the Bee-Youtiful collection and is called Bumbling in the Flowers.  The embossing folder is also from that collection and is called Bees and Flowers.

I die cut on metallic gold paper that I got at Michael's.

On the inside I used some of the hexagons that popped out of the die on the front of the card.  I also used some retired stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms.  This set is called Sweet Bee 6021FUM

If you love bees then keep checking back often.
I have LOTS more cards to share.

The Lawn Ranger from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a set of cards that I made for my Father-In-Law and two Brothers-In-Law.
They all have March birthdays close together so this year it was easier to mass produce similar cards.
Each one is unique but super close to the others.

I used the 5044 – Born To Ride Set.

I treated myself to a new little tool...a Brother Scan N Cut.  I was able to "fussy cut" all 5 of these images in less than a minute!  I'm so happy!

I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

I thought that bright green would be fun against the dark background.

I tried to make each mower unique.  Some have one stripe, some have 2 and others have a thick one.

I used 5133 – Flag Double Stitched Dies to stamp the funny verse on.

I changed things up a little on this one by tilting the main panel and adding a little manly bling.

Masculine cards are so much fun to make.  I love the colors and this set has several great images to choose from.

Happy 4th Birthday!

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today I'm sharing a card that a friend asked me to make.
Her nephew had a birthday and he's currently obsessed with dinosaurs.

I printed all of these digis on my computer.

When you fold up the center panel this is what you see.

Can't you just picture these cuties among the palms with clouds floating through the sky?

I love this Apatosaurus hiding in the foliage.

I'm not sure what you'd call this type of card.  It's like a trifold but with a center panel that folds down.  The stegosaurus is on a pop up panel too.

Sunflowery 16th birthday

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing the card that I made for my two nieces.
I used Beautiful Sunflower and Every Day Phrases.
The 16 was made using some Old Blue Fusible Glitter Sheet paper.

They were born 12 days apart and will be 16 this November. I asked my sisters what their favorite color is right now and they both said blue so I just made two of the exact same cards.

They both love music and so I added the notes, so they will hopefully picture me singing Happy Birthday to them. I also added the road die from Technique Tuesday and a little car since they'll be 16.

I Brake for Bees, Branches and Birthdays!

 Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card with you.

I've used Branch with Flowers for my main image.

The ladybug and bee are from Things with Wings sheet.
Happy Birthday comes from Every Day Phrases.  I stamped the bee 3 times.  One is the base.  The next was stamped so that I could pop the wings up and the last one I stamped in yellow and drew in the black stripes.  I just cut the body out and glued it to the layer with the wings folded up.

I think I'm going to set this card aside for my son's girlfriend.  Her birthday is in October and she loves bees.

Remember...you can always save 10% off your order when you use my coupon code SAVE10RENEE.  It never expires and can be used over and over again.

Which way to Moscow?

Hello Ai fans!

Today is my husband's birthday and I'm sharing the card that I made for him.
Unfortunately Donkey has been retired but I was lucky enough to get him.

This summer we've enjoyed some Moscow Mules by the pool a couple times.
We didn't have the proper mugs so that was one of the gifts I got my husband.

I made the frame/matte using the 5063 – Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies.
I hand-wrote the sentiment.  Don't worry, I erased the pencil once I was positive the ink was dry.

I Brake for Butterflies!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card that I made just to add to my stash.

I just received the set Things With Wings.

I used a large and a small matching butterfly from the set.

I stamped the images on some very thin pink handmade paper that had some gold metallic flecks in it and then added some detail with some Marvy markers.  They're so delicate and beautiful in person...like a real butterfly.

Happy 5th Birthday!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing one of the cakes
from the new 5255 – Birthday Cake Set.
I cut the 5 out of circles that I made using the 5064 – Circle Double Stitched Dies.

Since I chose to use the number 5 for a 5th birthday I wanted to keep the colors fun and bright.

I always have trouble getting Stickles to show up but their is some on the candles and it's pretty in person.

I used another cake from the set on the inside of my card.

Copics used:
R17, RV02, Y18, Y26, BG07,
BG53, V25, G14, E23, E29
